Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang berkembangnya perkembangan sosial anak yaitu sikap anak dalam berbagi seperti berbagi mainan dan media pembelajaran kepada teman. Sehingga permasalahannya dirumuskan menjadi: (1) bagaimana proses pengembangan sikap berbagi pada anak TK melalui metode bercerita, (2) bagaimana hasil pengembangan sikap berbagi pada anak TK setelah dikembangkan melalui metode bercerita, dengan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) mendeskripsikan proses pengembangan sikap berbagi pada anak TK melalui bercerita (2) memperoleh gambaran hasil pengembangan sikap berbagi pada anak TK melalui metode bercerita, serta manfaat dari penelitian ini adalah anak dapat berbagi sesuatu yang dimiliki kepada teman dengan senang hati dan bagi guru dapat menggunakan metode yang telah digunakan peneliti untuk mengembangkan sikap berbagi pada anak. Pengembangan sikap berbagi pada anak didukung oleh teori yang dikembangkan oleh Hurlock tentang pola perilaku sosial yang harus dimiliki anak salah satunya mau berbagi. Pengembangan sikap berbagi pada anak TK dilakukan melalui metode bercerita karena dengan bercerita anak akan antusias mengikuti pembelajaran, melalui cerita dapat ditanamkan pesan-pesan positif termasuk sikap mau berbagi, dan pesan positif yang didapatkan dari cerita tersebut kemudian di implikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan (PT) pada kelompok A yang berjumlah 7 orang anak yang terdiri dari 3 orang laki-laki dan 4 orang perempuan. Pada pelaksanaannya peneliti menggunakan desain penelitian dari McKernan yang dilakukan dengan 2 siklus dan masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tiga tindakan. Instrumen yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu berupa lembar observasi, performa, wawancara, catatan lapangan, dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Berdasarkan data yang telah dianalisis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode bercerita dapat mengembangkan sikap anak dalam berbagi menjadi lebih optimal. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari peningkatan pemerolehan skor setiap indikator pada setiap tindakan yang dilakukan. Pada siklus I tindakan 1 persentase pengembangan sikap anak dalam berbagi melalui metode bercerita sebesar 35,71%, pada tindakan 2 sebesar 51,58%, dan pada tindakan 3 sebesar 70,24%. Pada siklus II tindakan 1 sebesar 79,16%, pada tindakan 2 sebesar 88,88%, dan pada tindakan 3 sebesar 91,67%. Dari hasil persentase tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan metode bercerita berhasil mengembangkan sikap berbagi pada anak TK usia 4-5 tahun. Maka adapun saran bagi guru dan sekolah untuk dapat menggunakan metode bercerita dalam mengembangkan sikap berbagi pada anak TK. ----- This research was motivated by the lack of children’s social development which was the sharing attitude, for example by sharing toys and learning media to friends. The problem found was formulated into: (1) how was the process of developing sharing attitude in kindergarten children through a storytelling method, (2) how were the results of the sharing attitude development in kindergarten children after given a storytelling method. The purpose of this research was: (1) describing the process of developing the sharing attitude in kindergarten children through a storytelling, and (2) obtaining the result overview of developing the sharing attitude in kindergarten children through a storytelling method. The benefit from this research was children could share something they had to a friend with pleasure and for teachers, they might use the method conducted by the researcher to develop the children’s sharing attitude. Developing children’s sharing attitude was supported by a theory developed by Hurlock about the patterns of social behavior that children must have, one of which was to share. Developing a sharing attitude in kindergarten children was conducted by a storytelling method because storytelling encouraged the children to enthusiastically join the learning activity. Through a storytelling, positive messages could be instilled including the willingness to share. Then, the positive messages from the story were applied in everyday life. This research was an action research (AR) in group A of 7 children consisting of 3 boys and 4 girls. The researcher used a research design from McKernan which was conducted by two cycles and each cycle consisted of three actions. The instruments used in this research were observation sheet, performance, interview, field note, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on the analyzed data, it could be concluded that the storytelling method could develop the children’s sharing attitude optimally. This could be seen from the increasing scores for each indicator in each action conducted. In the first cycle, action 1, the percentage of the development of children’s sharing attitude through a storytelling method was 35.71%, in action 2 was 51.58%, and in action 3 was 70.24%. In the second cycle, action 1 was 79.16%, action 2 was 88.88%, and action 3 was 91.67%. From these percentages, it could be concluded that the use of storytelling method was successfully developing the sharing attitude among children of 4-5 years old. Therefore, the suggestion was that teachers and schools were able to use the storytelling method in developing the sharing attitude of kindergarten children.
