Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi saat peneliti melakukan PPLSP di SMPN 45 Bandung, peneliti melihat ketertarikan siswa terhadap budaya Pop Korea, baik terlihat dari bagaimana mereka membicarakan budaya Pop Korea baik di lingkungan sekolah maupun media sosial. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dampak budaya Pop Korea (K-POP) terhadap kesadaran akan budaya lokal pada siswa SMP 45 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dalam bentuk uraian naratif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Langkah-langkah analisis data dalam penelitian ini ialah dengan melakukan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa masuknya budaya Pop Korea mampu menarik perhatian para siswa dengan budayanya yang menarik serta para artis dan aktornya yang cantik dan tampan, namun terdapat pula pendapat siswa yang menyatakan bahwa masuknya budaya Pop Korea dapat menjadi ancaman bagi budaya bangsa Indonesia itu sendiri. Selain itu juga terdapat dampak dari masuknya budaya Pop Korea ke Indonesia, seperti dalam hal musik, dance, fashion, dan lain sebagainya, baik dampak positif maupun negatif. Dalam menjaga budaya lokal, maka kita harus mampu mengajarkan budaya lokal kepada generasi penerus serta mengembangkan budaya lokal agar lebih mudah diterima masyarakat seiring dengan perkembangan zaman. The purpose of this study was to describe the impact of Korean Pop culture (K-POP) on awareness of local culture in students of SMP 45 Bandung. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method in the form of a narrative description. Data collection techniques were carried out by interview, observation, and documentation study. The steps of data analysis in this research are data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results obtained in this study indicate that the entry of Korean Pop culture is able to attract the attention of students with its attractive culture and beautiful and handsome artists and actors, but there are also student opinions stating that the entry of Korean Pop culture can be a threat to Indonesian culture. itself. In addition, there are also impacts from the entry of Korean Pop culture into Indonesia, such as in terms of music, dance, fashion, and so on, both positive and negative impacts. In maintaining local culture, so we must be able to teach local culture to future generations and develop local culture so that it is more easily accepted by the community along with the times.
