Abstract

This research was motivated by the low ability of students to think creatively, which based on the results of the 2018 PISA study, said that Indonesia was ranked 73 out of 79 countries. Learning in school is limited to only just taking notes and listening to the teachers. The use of instructional media that does not attract students interest and attention to learning. Moreover, there is a lack of student involvement and interaction in learning activities. This study aims to produce interactive learning media assisted by the Ispring application in the form of application on smartphones in order to help improve students creative abilities in understanding the material "Respiratory System in Humans". This study is a development study by applying the Design & Development (D&D) research method which refers to the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model consists of five development stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. The quality of the product was validated by material experts, media experts, and small group trials of fifth grade V elementary school students who were around the researchers' house. The results showed that the assessment of the quality of learning media by material experts was "very feasible" with a percentage of 90%, the assessment of the quality of learning media by media experts was "very feasible" with a percentage of 95%, and student assessments in small group trials were "very feasible. "With a percentage of 91.5%. The conclusion of the product assessment "Interactive Learning Media assisted with Ispring Application" as a whole is "very feasible" as a learning tool that can help develop creative thinking abilities of elementary school students in science subjects.
