Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh hasil penelitian tahun 2010 dari Kemenkes RI. Dinyatakan bahwa hanya sekitar 52 juta orang dari total 262 juta seluruh penduduk Indonesia yang peduli terhadap kesehatan dan kebersihan. Hal tersebut mempunyai potensi dampak buruk pada generasi yang akan datang apabila tidak diperkenalkan perilaku hidup sehat dan bersih sejak dini. Berkenaan dengan hal tersebut tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui lebih dalam upaya yang dilakukan guru dalam menerapkan perilaku hidup sehat dan bersih pada anak usia dini. Metode yang dipakai adalah metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Partisipan yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 2 orang, yaitu seorang guru kelas A dan guru kelas B yang mengajar di TK CS. Teknik yang dipakai dalam pengambilan data adalah wawancara semi terstruktur. Analisis tematik dilakukan dalam tahapan menganalisis data. Hasil dari penelitian ini ditemukan bahwa dalam pelaksanaannya, penerapan perilaku hidup sehat dan bersih pada anak usia dini dapat dilakukan dengan berbagai cara, diantaranya gerak dan lagu, pembiasaan, menonton video, serta bercerita. Adapun aspek dari perilaku kesehatan dan kebersihan yang dapat diterapkan yaitu mencuci tangan dengan sabun dan air mengalir, membuang sampah pada tempatnya, memotong kuku kaki dan tangan, berolahraga, dan mengkonsumsi makanan sehat. Disamping itu ditemukan pula kendala yang dialami oleh guru terkait penerapan perilaku hidup sehat dan bersih, yaitu suasana hati anak yang mudah berubah dan belum stabil. Solusi yang dapat dilakukan atas kendala yang ada dengan lebih bersabar serta mengerti akan kondisi dan suasana hati anak. Kata kunci: upaya guru, perilaku hidup sehat dan bersih   THE EFFORT’S OF THE KINDERGARTEN TEACHER IN IMPLEMENTING HEALTHY AND CLEAN ATTITUDE IN EARLY CHILDHOOD Sharifah Fiera Nugraha 1701427 ABSTRACT This research was motivated by the results of a 2010 study from the Indonesian Ministry of Health. It is stated that only about 52 million people out of a total of 262 million Indonesians are concerned about health and hygiene. This has the potential for adverse effects on future generations if healthy and clean living behaviors are not introduced early on. In this regard, the purpose of this research is to find out more about the efforts made by teachers in implementing healthy and clean living behavior in early childhood. The method used is a case study method with a qualitative approach. The participants involved in this study were 2 people, namely a class A teacher and a class B teacher who taught at CS Kindergarten. The technique used in data collection is semi-structured interview. Thematic analysis is carried out in the stage of analyzing the data. The results of this study found that in practice, the application of healthy and clean living behavior in early childhood can be done in various ways, including movement and songs, habituation, watching videos, and telling stories. The aspects of health and hygiene behavior that can be applied are washing hands with soap and running water, throwing garbage in its place, cutting toenails and fingernails, exercising, and consuming healthy food. Besides that, it was also found that the obstacles experienced by teachers related to the application of healthy and clean living behavior, namely the mood of children who were easily changed and not yet stable. The solution that can be done to the existing obstacles is to be more patient and understand the condition and mood of the child Keywords: Teacher effort’s, healthy and clean attitude
