Abstract
Penelitian ini di latar belakangi pentingnya Pendidikan karakter pada peserta didik, namun dalam pelaksanaan pembelajarannya lebih dominan olah pikir dan kurang olah rasa, sehingga penanaman nilai -nilai karakter dapat melalui lagu daerah. Penelitian ini secara umum bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan relevansi lagu daerah dengan Pendidikan karakter di kelas 5 sekolah dasar. Sedangkan secara khusus penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan relevansi lagi Manuk Dadali, Tokecang dan Pileuleuyan dengan pendidikan karakter di kelas 5 sekolah dasar. Ada pun subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 5 sekolah dasar dan Objek dari penelitian ini adalah lagu daerah yang berasal dari Jawa Barat yaitu Lagu Manuk Dadali, Tokecang dan Pileuleuyan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Kualitatif Deskriptif dengan melakukan pengumpulan data melalui studi dokumentasi. Teknik pengolahan data yang digunakan adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan atau verifikasi yang kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa secara umum relevansi antara lagu daerah dengan Pendidikan karakter di kelas 5 sekolah dasar termasuk kedalam kategori relevan. Secara khusus yang pertama, relevansi lagu Manuk Dadali dengan Pendidikan karakter di kelas 5 sekolah dasar termasuk kedalam kategori relevan dilihat dari aspek tujuan, isi, metode/cara/media dan evaluasi. Ke dua relevansi lagu Tokecang dengan Pendidikan karakter di kelas 5 sekolah dasar termasuk kedalam kategori relevan.dan yang ketiga relevansi lagu Pileuleuyan dengan Pendidikan karakter termasuk dalam kategori relevan. Berdasarkan hal itu maka lagu Manuk Dadali, Tokecang dan Pileuleuyan cocok untuk dijadikan sebagai media atau cara pembelajaran penanaman nilai-nilai karakter pada peserta didik. Kata kunci: Relevansi, Lagu Daerah, Pendidikan Karakter. This research is motivated by the importance of character education in students, but in the implementation of learning it is more dominant in thinking and lacking in taste, so that the cultivation of character values can be through folk songs. This research generally aims to describe the relevance of folk songs with character education in class 5 elementary school. Meanwhile, this study specifically aims to describe the relevance of Manuk Dadali, Tokecang and Pileuleuyan to character education in class 5 elementary school. The research subjects in this study were 5th class elementary school students and the object of this research was folk songs originating from West Java, namely Manuk Dadali, Tokecang and Pileuleuyan songs. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method by collecting data through documentation study. Data processing techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification which are then analyzed descriptively. The results of this study indicate that in general the relevance of folk songs with character education in class 5 elementary schools is included in the relevant category. In particular, the first, the relevance of the song Manuk Dadali with character education in class 5 elementary school is included in the relevant category in terms of objectives, content, methods/methods/media and evaluation. The second is the relevance of the song Tokecang with character education in class 5 elementary school is included in the relevant category. And the third is the relevance of the song Pileuleuyan with character education is included in the relevant category. Based on this, the songs of Manuk Dadali, Tokecang and Pileuleuyan are suitable to be used as media or ways of learning to instill character values in students. Keywords: Relevance.
