Abstract
Problematika moral dalam dunia pendidikan di sekolah dasar menjadi masalah terbesar. Maraknya fenomena yang dilakukan pelajar kalangan usia dini, seperti kriminalitas dan penurunan moral sopan santun. Kasus tersebut mengindikasi bahwa pelajar di sekolah dasar mengalami kemerosotan moral. Dengan ditanamkannya nilai karakter dalam disiplin ilmu Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan melalui bahan pembelajaran, diharapkan dapat membentuk karakter pelajar sesuai kepribadian bangsa. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menganalisis nilai karakter pada buku cerita anak digital room to read, serta untuk menyusun bahan pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan di sekolah dasar. Pendekatan kualitatif sebagai konsep dari penelitian ini dengan analisis isi sebagai metode penelitiannya. Teknik penggalian datanya dengan menentukan pertanyaan penelitian, menyeleksi konten, melakukan penyusunan terhadap data, melakukan pengecekan dan membuat kesimpulan akhir. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini berupa 23 buku cerita anak digital room to read. Dari hasil analisis diperoleh 53 data temuan penggalan cerita yang memuat nilai-nilai karakter menurut Kemendiknas, dengan rincian: 1) karakter religius berjumlah 2, 2) karakter jujur berjumlah 1, 3) karakter toleransi berjumlah 5, 4) karakter disiplin berjumlah 5, 5) karakter kerja keras berjumlah 8, 6) karakter kreatif berjumlah 7, 7) karakter mandiri berjumlah 2, 8) karakter rasa ingin tahu berjumlah 11, 9) karakter cinta tanah air berjumlah 5, 10) karakter bersahabat/komunikatif berjumlah 8, 11) karakter peduli sosial berjumlah 4, dan 12) karakter tanggung jawab berjumlah 5. Dari hasil akhir analisis tersebut peneliti menjadikan sebagai alternatif penyusunan bahan pembelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan bagi siswa kelas II sekolah dasar. The purpose of this study was to analyze the character values in digitalchildren's story books room to read, as well as to compile civics education learning materials in elementary schools. Qualitative approach as the concept of this research with content analysis as the research method. The technique of extracting data is by determining research questions, selecting content, compiling the data, checking and making final conclusions. Sources of data in this study in the form of 23 children's story books digital room to read. From the results of the analysis, 53 data were obtained from story fragments containing character values according to the Ministry of National Education, with details: 1) religious characters totaling 2, 2) honest characters totaling 1, 3) tolerance characters totaling 5, 4) disciplined characters totaling 5, 5 ) hard work characters totaling 8, 6) creative characters totaling 7, 7) independent characters totaling 2, 8) curiosity characters totaling 11, 9) loving country characters totaling 5, 10) friendly/communicative characters totaling 8, 11) the character of social care is 4, and 12) the character of responsibility is 5. From the final result of the analysis, the researcher makes it as an alternative preparation of Civic Education learning materials for grade II elementary school students.
