Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh adanya penggunaan Google Form sebagai platform penilaian dalam kegiatan pembelajaran daring pada mata pelajaran IPS di kelas VIII-B MTs. Ar-Rohmah Bandung. Penilaian pembelajaran daring menggunakan Google Form digunakan guru untuk mengatasi permasalahan dalam penilaian yang kurang efektif. Penelitian bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan Google Form, mengidentifikasi efektivitas penggunaan Google Form, menganalisis upaya untuk mengatasi kendala terhadap pemanfaatan Google Form, dan mengetahui tanggapan guru dan siswa dalam penggunaan Google Form sebagai platform penilaian. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menyebutkan bahwa penggunaan penilaian pembelajaran menggunakan Google Form dinilai efektif pada penggunaan Google Form menggunakan bentuk tes pilihan ganda karena dapat memberikan hasil objektif yang tinggi dan dapat dipercaya, dalam pengoreksian jawabannya tidak sulit, dan lebih representatif dalam hal mencakup dan mewakili materi yang telah diajarkan. Google Form memiliki keunggulan seperti menyediakan sistem pengolahan data otomatis, sehingga guru tidak perlu menghitung hasil penilaian secara manual. Tanggapan siswa dan guru terhadap penggunaan Google Form sebagai platform penilaiaan pada pembelajaran IPS secara keseluruhan hasilnya positif. Artinya bahwa penggunaan Google Form memberikan dampak baik bagi guru dan siswa. Kata Kunci: Efektivitas, Google Form, Platform Penilaian, Pembelajaran IPS. This research is motivated by the use of Google Form as an assessment platform in online learning activities on social studies subjects in class VIII-B MTs. Ar-Rohmah Bandung. Online learning assessment using Google Form is used by teachers to overcome problems in ineffective assessments. The research aims to describe the use of Google Forms, identify the effectiveness of using Google Forms, analyze efforts to overcome obstacles to the use of Google Forms, and determine the responses of teachers and students in using Google Forms as an assessment platform. The research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method with data collection in the form of interviews, observations and documentation studies. The results of the study stated that the use of learning assessments using Google Forms was considered effective in the use of Google Forms using the multiple-choice test form because it can provide high and reliable objective results, correcting the answers is not difficult, and more representative in terms of covering and representing the material that has been taught. Google Form has advantages such as providing an automatic data processing system, so teachers do not need to calculate the assessment results manually. The responses of students and teachers to the use of Google Form as an assessment platform for social studies learning were overall positive.
