Abstract
Dasar Pengendalian Mutu Hasil Pertanian (DPMHP) merupakan salah satu mata pelajaran produktif di SMK pada program keahlian Agribisnis Pengolahan Hasil Pertanian yang memiliki berbagai kompetensi dasar, diantaranya mengevaluasi pengujian dasar mutu bahan. Berdasarkan studi lapangan yang peneliti laksanakan di SMKN 1 Leuwiliang, guru masih menggunakan model konvensional selama pembelajaran daring mata pelajaran DPMHP. Selain itu, kemandirian belajar siswa kurang dan sebagian besar hasil belajarnya masih di bawah KKM. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu model pembelajaran yang dapat melatih kemandirian dan meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa, yaitu model flipped classroom. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model flipped classroom dan model konvensional, serta mengetahui perbedaan kemandirian dan hasil belajar kognitif siswa yang menerapkan model flipped classroom dan siswa yang menerapkan model konvensional pada kompetensi dasar mengevaluasi pengujian dasar mutu bahan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Quasi Eksperiment dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 23 siswa kelas eksperimen yang menerapkan model flipped classroom dan 23 siswa kelas kontrol yang menerapkan model konvensional. Penelitian ini mendapatkan hasil bahwa keterlaksanaan pembelajaran daring menggunakan model flipped classroom dan model konvensional terlaksana seluruh sintak dengan kategori sangat baik. Setelah melaksanakan pembelajaran, penerapan model flipped classroom dapat melatih kemandirian belajar siswa dengan lebih baik dibandingkan model konvensional. Hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas eksperimen memiliki nilai rata-rata, nilai N-Gain, dan persentase ketuntasan belajar yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol, serta hasil uji statistik menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Basic Agricultural Product Quality Control (DPMHP) is one of the productive subjects in Vocational High Schools in the Agricultural Product Processing Agribusiness expertise program which has various basic competencies, including evaluating the basic quality test of materials. Based on a field study conducted by the researcher at SMKN 1 Leuwiliang, teachers still use the conventional model during online learning for DPMHP subjects. In addition, students’ learning independence is lacking and most of their learning outcomes are still below the KKM. Therefore, we need a learning model that can train independence and improve students’ learning outcomes, namely the flipped classroom model. This research aims to determine the implementation of learning by applying the flipped classroom model and conventional model, as well as knowing the differences in learning independence and cognitive learning outcomes of students who applied the flipped classroom model and students who applied the conventional model to basic competencies evaluating the basic quality test of materials. The research method used is a quasi-experiment with a nonequivalent control group design. The research sample consisted of 23 experimental class students who applied the flipped classroom model and 23 control class students who applied the conventional model. This study found that the implementation of online learning using the flipped classroom model and conventional learning model carried out all syntaxes with a very good category. After carrying out learning, the application of the flipped classroom model can train students’ independent learning better than the conventional model. Cognitive learning outcomes of experimental class students have a higher average value, N-Gain value, and a percentage of learning completeness than the control class, and the results of statistical tests show that there is a significant difference of students’ learning outcomes between the experimental class and control class.
