Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan masalah yang dialami peserta didik dalam pembelajaran menulis cerita fantasi, yaitu peserta didik kesulitan dalam menentukan dan mengembangkan tema atau ide cerita menjadi karangan cerita fantasi yang utuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis cerita fantasi kelas eksperimen sebelum dan sesudah diterapkan metode pengelompokkan ide berbantuan media cuplikan film, mendeskripsikan kemampuan menulis cerita fantasi di kelas kontrol, dan mendeskripsikan perbedaan signifikan mengenai kemampuan menulis cerita fantasi antara kelas eskperimen yang menerapkan metode pengelompokkan ide berbantuan media cuplikan film dengan kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian nonequivalent control group design. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VII-B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VII-A sebagai kelas kontrol. Data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, tes menulis cerita fantasi, observasi, dan angket, kemudian dianalisis dengan uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis (uji-t). Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis (uji-t) nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Nilai Sig. (2-tailed) <0,05, artinya Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Dengan demikian, terdapat perbedaan yang siginfikan antara kelas eskperimen dan kelas kontrol, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa metode pengelompokkan ide berbantuan media cuplikan film dapat digunakan dalam pembelajaran menulis teks cerita fantasi. Kata kunci: Cuplikan Film, Menulis Cerita Fantasi, Metode Pengelompokkan Ide ABSTRACT This research was conducted based on the problems experienced by students in learning to write fantasy storie, namely students had difficulty in determining and developing a theme or story idea into a complete fantasy story essay. This study aims to describe the ability to write fantasy stories in the experimental class before and after the application of the idea grouping method withe the help of film trailer media, describe the ability to write fantasy stories in the control class, and describe the significant difference in the ability to write fantasy stories between footage and the control class. This study used a nonequivalent control group design. The samples in this study were students of class VII-B as the experimental class and VII-A as the control class. Data obtained from interviews, fantasi story writing tests, observations, and questionnaires, the analayzed by reliability test, normality test, homogenity test, and hypothesis testing (t-test). Based on the results of hypothesis testing (t-test) the value of Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000. value of Sig. (2-tailed) <0.05, meaning that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. Thus, there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class, so it can be said that the method of grouping ideas with the aid of film fooage can be used in learning to write fantasy stories.
