    Abstract

    Program kelas Bahasa Korea untuk Kartu Prakerja merupakan program belajar bahasa asing yang juga merupakan usaha pemerintah dalam menyediakan wadah bagi masyarakat Indonesia untuk menambah atau meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa asing mereka. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan metode eksperimen semu untuk melihat pengaruh dari program kelas ini dalam meningkatkan kemampuan membaca para pesertanya. Selain itu dilakukan juga pengumpulan data melalui observasi mengenai aktivitas pembelajaran yang dilakukan dan juga angket untuk melihat respon para peserta yang mengikuti program ini. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat peningkatan rata-rata hasil tes para peserta sebelum dan sesudah mengikuti program, didapatkan juga hasil bahwa para peserta merasa tujuan dari program ini sudah selaras dengan tujuan program kartu prakerja. Meskipun dalam pelaksanaannya, masih terdapat beberapa kekurangan karena pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara daring.

    The Korean language class program for the Pre-Employment Card (Kartu Prakerja) is a foreign language learning program which is also the government's effort to provide a forum for the Indonesian people to add or improve their foreign language skills. In this study, a quasi-experimental method was used to see the effect of this class program in improving the reading ability of the participants. In addition, data collection was also carried out through observations regarding the learning activities carried out and also a questionnaire to see the responses of the participants who took part in this program. The results of this study indicate that there is an increase in the average test results of the participants before and after joining the program, it is also found that the participants feel that the objectives of this program are in line with the objectives of the pre-employment card program. Although in practice, there are still some shortcomings because learning is carried out online.
