Abstract

Pemanfaatan media dapat membantu memperjelas pesan pembelajaran. Keterampilan dan kreatifitas guru dalam mengembangkan bahan belajar sangat diperlukan untuk variasi pembelajaran siswa namun masih banyak guru yang kurang memahami tentang cara membuat media pembelajaran khususnya media video. Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan desain dan proses pengembangan modul elektronik pembuatan media pembelajaran berbasis video lectures bagi guru Sekolah Menengah Atas. Penelitian dilaksanakan untuk menghasilkan produk modul elektronik yang dapat digunakan guru dalam membuat media video pembelajaran berbasis video lectures sebagai bentuk kontribusi penulis dalam membantu meningkatkan keterampilan guru membuat media pembelajaran. Pemilihan bentuk media video berbasis video lectures dikarenakan bentuk video tersebut relatif lebih mudah dalam pembuatannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Design and Development dengan model pengembangan produk pendidikan ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation). Dimulai dengan analisis hingga menghasilkan draf modul elektronik, kemudian dilakukan penilaian kelayakan oleh ahli media dan materi yang datanya diambil menggunakan kuesioner. Hasil penilaian kelayakan kedua ahli terhadap modul elektronik masuk kedalam kategori “Sangat Layak” dan “Sangat Baik” dengan catatan dilakukannya revisi. Setelah dilakukan peningkatan kualitas berdasarkan masukan para ahli, modul elektronik dilakukan uji terbatas kepada 10 guru di SMA Negeri 12 Bandung. Berdasarkan respon pengguna, produk modul elektronik masuk kedalam kategori “Sangat Baik”. Modul elektronik yang dihasilkan memiliki tampilan yang menarik dan membuat guru lebih terbantu dalam membuat media video untuk mengajar. Ini menunjukkan bahwa penelitian dan pengembangan modul elektronik ini sudah dapat menjadi salah satu solusi bagi guru dalam membuat media pembelajaran. The use of instructional media can help clarify learning messages. Teachers' skills and creativity in developing learning materials are needed for variations in student learning, but there are still teachers that don’t understand how to make instructional media, especially video media. This research aims to describe the design and process of developing an electronic module for making video lectures based on instructional media for high school teachers. The research was conducted to produce electronic module products that can be used by teachers in making video lectures based on video instructional media as a form of the researcher’s contribution in helping to improve the skills of teachers in making instructional media. The choice of video lectures based video media is because the video format is relatively easy to make. This research used the Design and Development research design for educational product with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) development model. Start with analysis to produce a draft electronic module, then a feasibility assessment is carried out by media and material experts for which the data is collected using a questionnaire. The results of the feasibility assessment of the two experts on the electronic module are included in the "Very Appropriate" and "Very Good" categories with a note of revision. After improving the quality based on experts, the electronic module was subjected to a limited test on 10 teachers at SMA Negeri 12 Bandung. Based on user responses, electronic module products are included in the "Very Good" category. The resulting electronic module has an attractive appearance and makes teachers more helpful in making video media for teaching. This shows that the research and development of this electronic module can be a solution for teachers in making instructional media.
