Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan perkembangan sekolah berbasis asrama yang menerapkan nilai-nilai pedagogis. Sekolah tersebut saat ini menjadi pilihan banyak orang tua untuk menyekolahkan anaknya. Judul penelitian ini adalah Pengembangan Nilai-nilai Pedagogis di Sekolah Berbasis Asrama (Studi Kasus di SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur – Boarding School). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang bagaimana nilai religius dikembangkan. Peneliti menemukan nilai religius yang terkandung dalam visi, misi, dan tujuan sekolah. Ini kemudian menjadi fokus penelitian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, guru, kepala asrama, wali asrama, dan perwakilan dari yayasan. Untuk mengumpulkan data, digunakan instrument penelitian wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisa data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, data display, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ditemukan: nilai religius dirumuskan berdasarkan visi, misi, dan tujuan sekolah dengan melibatkan pendidik di sekolah dan komite orang tua. Nilai religius diimplementasikan melalui pendekatan ketauladanan dan disisipkan dalam kurikulum. Adanya evaluasi yang dilakukan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana nilai religius yang telah dikembangkan dapat dilaksanakan. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pengembangan nilai religious di sekolah tersebut dapat dikembangkan dengan baik. Kata Kunci: Pengembangan, Nilai, Pedagogis, Sekolah, Asrama ABSTRACTS Andri Nasikin (2021) PEDAGOGICAL VALUES DEVELOPMENT AT BOARDING SCHOOL (A Case Study at SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur - Boarding School) The background of this research was based on the development of the boarding school which applied pedagogical values. This study entitled Pedagogical Values Development at Boarding School (A Case Study at SMP Islam Cendekia Cianjur – Boarding School). The purpose was to get an idea of how religious value developed. The writer found vision, mission, and aim of the school which contained religious value. It then became the research focus. The writer applied qualitative descriptive research with a case study approach. The Participants were principal, vice principal, teacher, head of boarding, boarding teacher, and representative from the foundation. The research instruments used to collect data were interview, observation and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data display, and concluding. The results were: the religious value formulated based on the school's vision, mission, and aim by involving educators at school and parent committee. Religious value was implemented through examplary approach and inserted into the curriculum. An evaluation was carried out to find out the religious value that had been developed could be implemented well.
