Abstract

Skripsi dengan judul “Pengaruh Modifikasi Tempat Duduk Terhadap Kemampuan Menulis Anak Cerebral Palsy Tipe Spastik Quadriplegia” merupakan penelitian kuantitatif model eksperimen SSR (Single Subject Research) yang dilakukan kepada subjek dari SLB Risantya Kota Bandung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar pengaruh modifikasi tempat duduk terhadap peningkatan kemampuan menulis anak dengan cerebral palsy tipe quadriplegia. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengukur kemampuan awal siswa dengan tes menulis, dibantu dengan beberapa metode seperti observasi dan dokumentasi. Kemudian pemberian perlakuan kepada subjek, dimana perlakuan yang dimaksud adalah dengan mengganti tempat duduk yang biasa digunakan oleh subjek ketika melakukan aktivitas menulis di sekolah dengan tempat duduk yang disesuaikan agar memberikan stabilitas tubuh bagian bawah dan memperbaiki postur tubuh yang membungkuk ketika menulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan subjek mengalami peningkatan sebesar 23,50% dari hasil tes awal dan akhir dalam aspek menulis keseluruhan dan menambah kecepatan menulis subjek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modifikasi tempat duduk berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan dan kecepatan menulis pada anak cerebral palsy tipe spastik quadriplegia. Kata kunci: Peningkatan Kemampuan Menulis, Modifikasi Tempat Duduk, Metode Penelitian SSR Thesis with the title "The Effect of Seat Modification on the Writing Ability of Children with Cerebral Palsy with the Spastic Quadriplegia Type" is a quantitative study of the SSR (Single Subject Research) experimental model conducted on subjects from SLB Risantya Bandung City. This study aims to determine the effect of seating modification on improving writing skills of children with quadriplegia type cerebral palsy. The data collection technique was carried out by measuring students' initial abilities with writing tests, assisted by several methods such as observation and documentation. Then giving treatment to the subject, where the treatment in question is to replace the seat that is usually used by the subject when doing writing activities at school with a seat that is adjusted so as to provide lower body stability and improve posture that bends when writing. The results showed that the subject had an increase of 23.50% from the initial and final test results in the overall writing aspect and increased the subject's writing speed. The results showed that seat modification had a positive effect on increasing writing ability and speed in children with spastic quadriplegia cerebral palsy.
