Abstract

Keterampilan menulis merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang harus dikembangkan sedini mungkin. Menulis membutuhkan keterampilan khusus dan menuntut ide-ide logis yang disusun secara menarik agar menjadi penulis yang baik. Tulisan yang baik akan menarik pembaca untuk membacanya. Seseorang yang sering menulis menunjukkan bahwa orang tersebut gemar membaca. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan pendekatan pembelajaran jenis model hipotetik dengan langkah sebagai berikut: (1) rasionalisasi (2) sintaks (3) sistem sosial (4) prinsip reaksi (5) sistem pendukung (6) dampak instruksional, dan (7) dampak pengiring. Peneliti menggunakan 4-D Model dengan pertimbangan model ini tersusun secara terprogram dengan urutan-urutan kegiatan sistematis dalam upaya pemecahan masalah belajar yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan karakteristik siswa. Model 4-D mencakup empat tahap. Tahap-tahap tersebut diantaranya tahap pendefinisian (define), tahap perancangan (design), tahap pengembangan (develop) dan tahap penyebaran (disseminate) (Thiagarajan, Semmel dan Semmel, 1974). Berdasarkan analisis kebutuhan maka pendekatan pembelajaran STEAM dengan terintegrasi model PjBL berbasis Nilai Kearifan Lokal. Uji kelayakan pendekatan pembelajaran menggunakan 6 validasi ahli yang menghasilkan rata-rata perolehan skor 87%. Keterpakaian pendekatan pembelajaran didapatkan berdasarkan angket respon guru, angket terbuka dan angket respon siswa. Angket guru dengan persentase rata-rata menjawab setuju 59%, sangat setuju 37,5% dan cukup 3,5%. Angket respon siswa dengan hasil responden memberikan respon yang baik terhadap pendekatan pembelajaran STEAM berbasis nilai kearifan lokal, menurut responden model merupakan hal yang dapat membantu pembelajaran, terutama media yang menarik bagi siswa dan berkaitan langsung dalam kehidupan siswa. Selain itu data yang didapat dari angket sebanyak 60% setuju, 9,6% sangat setuju, 27,6% cukup dan 2,5% kurang setuju. Writing requires special skills and demands logical ideas that are arranged in an attractive way to be a good writer. Good writing will attract readers to read it. Someone who often writes shows that this person likes to read. The purpose of this study is to develop a hypothetical model type learning approach with the following steps: (1) rationalization (2) syntax (3) social system (4) reaction principle (5) support system (6) instructional impact, and (7) accompanying impact . Researchers use the 4-D Model with the consideration that this model is structured programmatically with sequences of systematic activities in an effort to solve learning problems according to the needs and characteristics of students. The 4-D model includes four stages. These stages include the defining stage, the design stage, the develop stage and the dissemination stage (Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel, 1974). Based on the needs analysis, the STEAM learning approach is integrated with the PjBL model based on Local Wisdom Values. The feasibility test for the learning approach used 5 expert validations which resulted in an average score of 87%. The use of the learning approach was obtained based on teacher response questionnaires, open questionnaires and student response questionnaires. The teacher questionnaire with an average percentage of answering agreed was 59%, strongly agreed 37.5% and sufficiently 3.5%. An open questionnaire with the results of the respondents gave a good response to the STEAM learning approach based on local wisdom values, according to the respondents the model was something that could help learning, especially media that was attractive to students and was directly related to student life. In addition, 60% of the data obtained from the questionnaire agreed, 9.6% strongly agreed, 27.6% was sufficient and 2.5% disagreed.
