Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas persepsi guru mengenai pencegahan cyber bullying di sekolah melalui penanaman nilai-nilai toleransi. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menggali persepsi guru mengenai cyber bullying, faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi anak untuk melakukan cyber bullying, keterkaitan antara pencegahan cyber bullying dengan penanaman nilai toleransi, serta mengenai strategi guru kelas dan guru BK dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai toleransi di sekolah dasar Laboratorium UPI Cibiru. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumupulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu wawancara dan studi dokumen. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa persepsi yang diberikan guru dari aspek kognitif menunjukan guru sangat mengetahui tentang cyber bullying ini berdasarkan pengalaman dan berbagai referensi. Dari aspek afektif, persepsi guru menunjukan rasa khawatir akan dampak dari cyber bullying bagi siswa. Sedangkan dari aspek konatif, guru memberikan respon tindakan yang sangat baik dengan berkolaborasi menjalankan peran fungsinya masing-masing dalam menangani kasus cyber bullying. Kemudian ditemukan bahwa pada kasus cyber bullying ini dipengaruhi tiga faktor yaitu bullying tradisional, karakteristik kepribadian pelaku yang ekstrovert dan persepsi pelaku terhadap korban. Kemudian guru memandang bahwa cyber bullying ini memiliki keterkaitan dan dapat dicegah melalui penanaman nilai toleransi disekolah. Lebih lanjut, strategi yang di lakukan guru dalam menanamkan nilai toleransi ini melalui pembiasaan-pembiasaan dalam proses pembelajaran yang tanpa disadari anak sedang belajar toleransi. Penelitian ini diharapkan memberikan pengetahuan serta meningkatkan kewaspadaan bagi guru dan pihak terkait lainnya akan bahaya dari cyber bullying bagi anak. ----- This study discusses teachers' perceptions about the prevention of cyber bullying in schools through planting tolerance values. The purpose of this study was to explore teachers' perceptions about cyber bullying, the factors that influence children to do cyber bullying, the relationship between the prevention of cyber bullying and the cultivation of tolerance values, and the strategies of classroom teachers and counseling teachers in instilling tolerance values in laboratory elementary schools. UPI Cibiru. The research method used in this research is a qualitative research method using a phenomenological approach. The data collection techniques used in this study were interviews and document studies. The results of this study indicate that the perceptions given by the teacher from the cognitive aspect show that the teacher knows very well about cyber bullying based on experience and various references. From the affective aspect, the teacher's perception shows that he is worried about the impact of cyber bullying on students. Meanwhile, from the conative aspect, the teacher provides excellent response actions by collaborating to carry out their respective roles in handling cases of cyber bullying. Then it was found that in the case of cyber bullying, it was influenced by three factors, namely traditional bullying, the personality characteristics of the extroverted offender and the perpetrator's perception of the victim. Then the teacher views that cyber bullying is related and can be prevented by instilling the value of tolerance in schools. Furthermore, the strategy carried out by the teacher in instilling this value of tolerance is through habituation in the learning process that the child is unwittingly learning tolerance. This research is expected to provide knowledge and increase awareness for teachers and other related parties about the dangers of cyber bullying for children.
