Abstract

ABSTRAK Setiap siswa yang lulus Sekolah Menengah Akhir (SMA) menginginkan untuk melanjutkan pendidikannya ke perguruan tinggi favorit, khususnya Perguruan Tinggi Negeri (PTN). Secara umum terdapat 3 jalur seleksi penerimaan mahasiswa baru yaitu SNMPTN, SBMPTN, dan Seleksi Mandiri. Ketiga jalur seleksi ini memiliki alat seleksi yang berbeda untuk memenuhi kualifikasi kelulusan calon mahasiswa. Setelah diterima sebagai mahasiswa pada jurusan masing-masing, semua mahasiswa diperlakukan sama, mengambil mata kuliah yang sama sesuai Kurikulum Program Studi yang diikutinya. Tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa dalam menentukan pencapaian hasil belajar mahasiswa itu sendiri ditentukan oleh tinggi rendahnya prestasi akademik yang dapat dilihat dari nilai Indeks Prestasi Kumulatif (IPK). Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan yang terdapat dalam jalur seleksi masuk peguruan tinggi terhadap prestasi akademik mahasiswa lulusan Prodi PJSD FPOK UPI tahun 2015-2019. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu lulusan mahasiswa Prodi PJSD FPOK UPI tahun 2015-2019 berjumlah 343 orang. Data yang diperoleh peneliti merupakan data sekunder yang diambil dari bagian akademik Prodi PJSD dan FPOK UPI. Analisis data yang digunakan merupakan uji nonparametik dikarenakan data tidak berdistribusi normal yaitu dengan menggunakan Kruskal Wallis Test dan Mann-Whitney U Test.Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa nilai Asymp. Sig. (0,000) < 0,05, maka dengan demikian Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan kata lain, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan prestasi akademik mahasiswa lulusan Prodi PJSD FPOK UPI di tahun 2015-2019 ditinjau dari jalur seleksi masuk perguruan tinggi. ABSTRACT Every student who graduated from High School wants to continue their education to a Universities favorite, especially State Universities. In general there are 3 paths for selecting new college student admissions, namely SNMPTN, SBMPTN, and SM. These three selection lines have different selection tools to meet the prospective student's graduation qualifications. After being accepted as students in their respective departments, all students are treated equally, taking the same courses, according to the curriculum of the course they are following. It cannot be denied, that in determining the achievement of student learning outcomes itself is determined by the level of academic achievement that can be seen from the value of the Cumulative Achievement Index (IPK). The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship contained in the pathway of higher education entrance selection to the academic achievement of graduate students majoring in PJSD FPOK UPI in 2015-2019. This research is quantitative descriptive. The population of this research is 343 graduates from PJSD FPOK UPI in 2015-2019. The data obtained by the researchers are secondary data taken from the academic department of PJSD and FPOK UPI. Analysis of the data used is a nonparametic test, because the data are not normally distributed, using the Kruskal Wallis Test and the Mann-Whitney U Test. The results showed that the value Asymp. Sig. (0,000) < 0,05, then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. In other words, it can be concluded that there are differences in academic achievement of majors graduate students PJSD FPOK UPI in 2015-2019 based on the college entrance selection path.
