Abstract

Penguasaan konsep dalam mata pelajaran kimia merupakan hal yang penting sehinga dapat membuat siswa lebih mudah dalam menyelsaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi. Hal ini dapat terbentuk tidak hanya mendapat penjelasan dari guru, namun dapat diperoleh dari proses membaca. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan konsep prasyarat dan tingkat perkembangan aktual siswa pada materi koloid. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah ex post facto. Subyek peneltian ini berjumlah 63 siswa kelas XI salah satu SMA Negeri di Kota Cimahi. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes penguasaan konsep prasyarat materi koloid dan tes penguasaan konsep materi koloid. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi Pearson dengan menggunakan SPSS 24 for Windows. Hasil penelitian dan uji statistik menunjukan adanya hubungan yang linear dan berhubungan secara positif sebesar 0,330 antara penguasaan konsep prasyarat dan tingkat perkembangan aktual siswa. Hasil uji korelasi Pearson menunjukan adanya hubungan yang signifikan (p<0,05) antara penguasaan konsep prasyarat dan tingkat perkembangan aktual siswa pada materi koloid dengan koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,328 (rendah). Hal tersebut menunjukan pentingnya penguasaan konsep prasyarat sebagai bekal untuk dapat memahami materi bacaan Koloid. Mastery of concepts in chemistry subjects is important so that it can make it easier for students to solve the problems faced. This can be formed not only getting an explanation from the teacher, but it can be obtained from the reading process. This study aims to determine the relationship between prerequisite concepts and students' actual level of development in colloid material. The research method used is ex post facto. The research subjects were 63 students of class XI of one of the public high schools in Cimahi City. The instruments used were the colloid material prerequisite concept mastery test and colloid material concept mastery test. The analysis used is thecorrelation analysis Pearson using SPSS 24 for Windows. The results of the research and statistical tests showed a linear relationship and a positive relationship of 0.330 between the prerequisite concept mastery and the student's actual development level. The results of the correlation Pearson showed a significant relationship (p <0.05) between the prerequisite concept mastery and the student's actual development level on colloid material with a correlation coefficient of 0.328 (low). This shows the importance of mastering the concept of prerequisites as a provision to be able to understand Colloid reading material.
