Abstract

Adanya pandemik covid-19 yang mengharuskan peserta didik melakukan pembelajaran di rumah secara online melatarbelakangi peneliti mengambil tema penelitian pemanfaatan google classroom sebagai media pembelajaran online pada mata pelajaran instalasi tenaga listrik di SMKN 4 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif yang dimulai dari studi literatur, observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dilanjutkan dengan pembuatan materi pembelajaran, kemudian membuat aplikasi kelas digital di google classroom. Setelah itu peneliti mengundang peserta didik untuk masuk ke kelas digital yang ada di google classroom. Berikutnya guru memberikan materi pembelajaran dan soal-soal latihan. Pada tahapan awal peneliti melakukan observasi awal pada peserta didik dengan melakukan pengamatan pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung. Selanjutnya peneliti melakukan wawancara dengan pengumpulkan informasi dan media pembelajaran untuk mengetahui sejauh mana respon dan kendala yang dihadapi oleh peserta didik dengan persetujuan dari pembimbing. Dari hasil pengumpulan data didapatkan temuan respon positif peserta didik terkait pembelajaran: pemanfaatan google tidak terbatas ruang dan waktu, mudah diakses dan mudah dipahami serta efektif dalam penggunaannya. Respon negatif peserta didik terhadap pemanfaatan google classroom: pengumpulan tugas harus sesuai dengan waktu yang sudah ditentukan sedangkan dalam pembelajaran bukan hanya satu mata pelajaran itu saja.Kendala lain yang dihadapi peserta didik adalah ketersediaan kuota internet yang dimiliki oleh peserta didik, jaringan internet yang terganggu pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung maupun pada saat pengiriman atau mengupload tugas, untuk upload file harus satu persatu dan kadang gagal mengirimkan, internet peserta didik yang kurang stabil dan server google classroom yang kurang stabil sehingga ada beberapa file tidak dapat di upload. Kata kunci : covid-19, media pembelajaran online,google classroom The existence of the Covid-19 pandemic which requires students to learn at home online is the background for researchers to take the research theme of the use of google classroom as an online learning medium on the subject of electrical power installation at SMKN 4 Bandung. This study uses a qualitative approach which starts from literature study, observation, interviews and documentation. Followed by making learning materials, then creating a digital classroom application in google classroom. After that, the researcher invited students to enter the digital class on the google classroom. Next, the teacher provides learning material and practice questions. In the early stages the researchers made preliminary observations on students by making observations when the learning took place. Furthermore, researchers conducted interviews with information gatherers and learning media to find out the extent of the responses and constraints faced by students with the approval of the supervisor. From the results of data collection, it was found that the positive response of students related to learning: the use of google is not limited to space and time, is easily accessible and easy to understand and is effective in its use. The negative response of students to the use of google classroom: collection of assignments must be in accordance with the predetermined time, while learning is not just one subject. Another obstacle faced by students is the availability of internet quotas owned by students, internet networks that are disrupted at During the learning process as well as at the time of sending or uploading assignments, to upload files one by one and sometimes fail to send, students' internet is unstable and the google classroom server is less stable so that some files cannot be uploaded.
