Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masalah pentingnya pencapaian kompetensi mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dalam keterampilan membaca cepat. Membaca Cepat adalah salah satu jenis keterampilan membaca yang menitikberatkan pada kecepatan memahami isi bacaan dengan cepat dan tepat dalam waktu yang relatif singkat serta diperuntukkan bagi siswa kelas tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) mendeskripsikan kecepatan membaca dalam keterampilan membaca cepat teks nonfiksi berbasis daring kelas IV B di SDIT Al-Husna Parungkuda Sukabumi tahun ajaran 2019/2020. (2) Mendeskripsikan tingkat pemahaman membaca siswa dalam keterampilan membaca cepat teks nonfiksi berbasis daring kelas IV B di SDIT Al-Husna Parungkuda Sukabumi tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV B di SDIT Al-Husna Parungkuda tahun ajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes berupa tes, pedoman wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan metode pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kecepatan membaca siswa dalam keterampilan membaca cepat teks nonfiksi berbasis daring di kelas IV B termasuk cepat dengan jumlah 151-200 kpm dan sangat cepat dengan jumlah > 201 kpm. Tingkat pemahaman isi bacaan dalam keterampilan membaca cepat teks nonfiksi berbasis daring di kelas IV B termasuk sedang dengan skor 71%-80% dan baik dengan skor 81%-90%. ----- This research is motivated by the problem of the importance of achieving competency in Indonesian subjects in speed reading skills. Speed reading is a type of reading skill that focuses on the speed of understanding the contents of the reading quickly and accurately in a relatively short time and is intended for high-grade students. The objectives of this study were: (1) to describe the reading speed in fast reading skills of online-based non-fiction text for class IV B at SDIT Al-Husna Parungkuda Sukabumi for the 2019/2020 school year. (2) Describe the level of reading comprehension of students in fast reading skills of online-based non-fiction text for class IV B at SDIT Al-Husna Parungkuda Sukabumi in the 2019/2020 school year. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive research methods. The subjects of this study were students of grade IV B at SDIT Al-Husna Parungkuda in the 2019/2020 school year. This study uses test instruments in the form of tests, interview guidelines, and documentation with data collection methods, namely interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the reading speed of students in fast reading skills of online-based nonfiction text in class IV B is fast with a total of 151-200 kpm and very fast with a number of > 201 kpm. The level of comprehension of the reading content in fast reading skills of online-based nonfiction text in class IV B obtained a score of < 60% which is included in the very poor assessment criteria and a moderate score of 71% -80% with moderate assessment criteria.
