Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas tentang strategi guru dalam membina perilaku toleransi siswa di SD Islam. Hal ini dilakukan karena melihat kondisi masyarakat saat ini yang belum benar-benar menanamkan perilaku toleransi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan, hambatan dan solusi, serta tujuan pembinaan perilaku toleransi siswa di SD Islam Ibnu Sina Kecamatan Cimenyan Kabupaten Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu angket, wawancara, dan dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukan SD Islam Ibnu Sina telah melaksanakan pembinaan perilaku toleransi dengan cukup baik seperti anjuran untuk saling menghargai, pembuatan tata tertib dan program kegiatan sekolah untuk menunjang strategi pembinaan perilaku toleransi. Dalam proses pembelajaran integrasi nilai-nilai toleransi lebih terlihat dalam pembelajaran PKn, selebihnya dalam mata pelajaran lain nilai-nilai toleransi disisipkan pada saat proses pembelajaran. Hambatan yang dihadapi guru dalam pelaksanaan pembinaan perilaku toleransi di antaranya adalah masih terdapat siswa yang belum memahami pentingnya nilai-nilai toleransi sehingga dalam pengimplementasiannya siswa harus sering diingatkan. Solusi yang diberikan guru untuk mengatasi hambatan tersebut adalah dengan memahamkan siswa terkait pentingnya nilai-nilai toleransi dengan menyiapkan langkah pembelajaran sebaik mungkin. Sedangkan tujuan yang dikemukakan oleh pihak sekolah dalam strategi pembinaan perilaku toleransi yaitu agar siswa dapat menghargai dan menerima perbedaan karakter orang lain serta berakhlakul karimah. ----- This study discusses teacher strategies in fostering tolerant behavior of students in Islamic elementary schools. This is done because seeing the current condition of society that has not really instilled tolerant behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation, obstacles and solutions, as well as the goal of fostering tolerance behavior of students at SD Islam Ibnu Sina, Cimenyan District, Bandung Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach using the case study method. The data collection techniques used in this study were questionnaires, interviews, and documents. The results showed that Ibnu Sina Islamic Elementary School had carried out the development of tolerant behavior quite well, such as suggestions for mutual respect, setting up rules and school activity programs to support the strategy of fostering tolerance behavior. In the learning process the integration of tolerance values is more visible in Civics learning, the rest is in other subjects the values of tolerance are inserted during the learning process. The obstacles faced by the teacher in the implementation of fostering tolerant behavior include that there are still students who do not understand the importance of tolerance values so that in their implementation students must be reminded frequently. The solution given by the teacher to overcome these obstacles is to understand the students regarding the importance of tolerance values by preparing the best possible learning steps. While the goals put forward by the school in the strategy of fostering tolerance behavior are so that students can appreciate and accept differences in the character of others and have good morals.
