    Abstrak
    Untuk membantu proses pembelajaran agar terlaksana lebih optimal, diperlukan suatu media. Namun, karena saat ini pembelajaran dilaksanakan secara jarak jauh via daring akibat pandemi COVID 19 maka penggunaan media pembelajaran cukup terbatas. Karena kondisi demikian, maka dibutuhkan suatu media yang dapat diakses oleh siswa dimanapun dan kapanpun. Salah satu media yang dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah dengan menggunakan media video animasi. tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media video animasi pada metri ciri-ciri makhluk hidup dalam proses pembelajaran dan juga untuk mengetahui kelayakan pengembangan media video animasi pada materi ciri-ciri makhluk hidup berdasarkan penilaian oleh ahli materi dan ahli media.
    Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Design and Development (DnD) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan juga angket. Tahapan penelitian yang dilakukan diawali dengan menganalisis data kebutuhan. Selanjutnya dilakukan proses desain media yang dikembangkan menggunakan beberapa software seperti Corel Draw, Adobe After Effects, dan juga Filmora. Setelah itu, dilakukan validasi produk kepada ahli media dan juga ahli materi. Pada uji kelayakan ini, media video animasi pada materi ciri-ciri makhluk hidup ini mendapatkan presentase kelayakan sebanyak masing-masing 93,9% dan 97,72%. Adapun setelah dilakukan validasi, produk media ini diujicobakan kepada 7 orang siswa dengan mendapatkan skor 97,3%. Dan 90,62% untuk hasil uji coba kepada guru. Secara garis besar, media video animasi ini mendapatkan kategori “Sangat Baik”, sehingga dapat digunakan pada saat proses pembelajaran.

    Abstract
    To help the learning process be carried out more optimally, a medium is needed. However, because currently learning is being carried out remotely via online due to the COVID 19 pandemic, the use of learning media is quite limited. Because of this condition, we need a media that can be accessed by students anywhere and anytime. One of the media that can be used as an alternative to solve this problem is by using animated video media. The purpose of this study is to develop animated video media on the metric of the characteristics of living things in the learning process and also to determine the feasibility of developing animated video media on the material characteristics of living things based on assessments by material experts and media experts.
    This research used the Design and Development (DnD) research method with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) model. The data collection technique used was observation and also a questionnaire. The stages of the research carried out began with analyzing the data needs. Furthermore, the media design process was developed using several software such as Corel Draw, Adobe After Effects, and also Filmora. After that, product validation was carried out to media experts as well as material experts. In this feasibility test, the animated video media on the material of the characteristics of this living creature obtained a feasibility percentage of 93.9% and 97.72%. After validation, this media product was tested on 7 students with a score of 97.3%. And 90.62% for the test results to the teacher. Broadly speaking, this animated video media is in the "Very Good" category, so it can be used during the learning process.
