Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keterampilan menulis karangan narasi pada siswa kelas V sekolah dasar serta faktor yang mempengaruhinya. Pada penelitian ini digunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri Cileunyi 01 sebanyak 13 siswa dengan jumlah siswa laki-laki 5 orang dan jumlah siswa perempuan 8 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu instrumen penilaian keterampilan menulis karangan narasi dan instrumen angket untuk mengetahui faktor yang mempengaruhi keterampilan menulis karangan narasi siswa. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah model Milles dan Huberman, yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi/kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, keterampilan menulis karangan narasi siswa kelas V SD Negeri Cileunyi 01 masuk ke dalam kategori terampil ditinjau dari penilaian terhadap indikator isi, struktur organisasi, aspek bahasa, ciri kebahasaan, dan jenis narasi. Nilai tertinggi yang diperoleh siswa yaitu 95 dan nilai terendah yaitu 50. Adapun untuk faktor yang mempengaruhi keterampilan menulis karangan narasi siswa, terdapat faktor penunjang yaitu penguasaan pada aspek isi, aspek struktur organisasi, dan aspek ciri kebahasaan. Selain itu, faktor penghambatnya yaitu kurangnya penguasaan pada aspek bahasa dan jenis narasi yang menjadi kesulitan bagi siswa dalam menulis karangan narasi. ----- This research aims to know the writing narrative skills of fifth grade students in elementary school and the factors that influence it. This research used descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this research were 13 fifth grade students in SD Negeri Cileunyi 01 with 5 male students and 8 female students. The instruments that used were assessment instruments of narrative writing skills and questionnaire instruments to know the factors that affect students narrative writing skills. The data analysis technique that used was the Milles and Huberman model, including data reduction, data display, and verification. Based on the results of the analysis, the writing skills of fifth grade students in SD Negeri Cileunyi 01 belong to skilled category in terms of content indicators, organizational structure, language aspects, linguistic characteristics, and types of narrative. The highest score obtained by the students was 95 and the lowest score was 50. As for the factors that influence students' narrative writing skills, there are support factors, including the mastery of content aspects, organizational structure aspects, and linguistic characteristics aspects. In addition, the inhibiting factors are the lack of mastery in language aspects and types of narrative which make it difficult for students to writing narrative.
