Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “TEKNIK BERNYANYI DALAM MUSIK KONTEMPORER FRY KARYA IWAN GUNAWAN” penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana teknik bernyanyi musik kontemporer Fry karya Iwan Gunawan. Fokus penelitian ini lebih tertuju pada teknik bernyanyi dalam karya Fry, maka dilakukan teknik pengumpulan data melalui metode studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data yang diperoleh melalui studi literatur berupa media internet dan buku kemudian wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil temuan penelitian untuk menyanyikan karya musik kontemporer sebagai seorang penyanyi harus menguasai berbagai macam teknik bernyanyi. Tentunya ini menjadi tantangan bagi seorang penyanyi untuk mengeksplor yang akan dinyanyikan dan penyanyi harus lebih proaktif mengambil inisiatif untuk mengekspresikan karya komposer tersebut, agar karya tersebut diproduksi dengan baik melalui teknik yang benar. Kata Kunci: Vokal, Teknik bernyanyi kontemporer ABSTRACT The research entitled “SINGING TECHNIQUE IN CONTEMPORARY MUSIK FRY BY IWAN GUNAWAN”. This research aims to determine how the contemporary music singing technique of Fry by Iwan Gunawan. The focus of this research is more focused on singing technique in Fry’s creation, then the data collection technique was carried out through a case study method with a qualitative approach. Data obtained through literature studies in the form if internet media and books then interviews. Based on the research findings. To sing contemporary music as a singer, you have to be master a variety of singing to explore what will be sung and the singer must be more proactive in taking the initiative to express the composer’s work.
