Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi karena tuntutan pendidikan abad 21 dimana pendidikan saat ini menuntut siswa lebih aktif dan harus mengembangkan empat kemampuan yang harus dimilki pada abad 21 dalam menunjang pembelajaran pendidikan kurikulum 2013. Salah satu perubahan pada kurikulum 2013 tersebut yakni dianjurkan penggunaan buku teks pelajaran yang diterbitkan oleh Kemendikbud. Buku teks pelajaran tersebut tidak hanya digunakan oleh siswa saja, tetapi dapat membantu guru dalam mempersiapkan proses kegiatan pembelajaran. Oleh sebab itu, dalam buku tersebut apakah terdapat soal-soal pembelajaran yang dapat melatih kemampuan siswa pada abad 21 dimana soal-soal tersebut berorietansi pada soal-soal pengembangan HOTS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan hasil analisis soal IPA pada buku siswa tematik terpadu ditinjau dari pengembangan HOTS dan membuat pembaruan soal LOTS pada buku siswa tematik terpadu tema 1 kelas V SD/MI yang sesuai dengan pengembangan soal HOTS. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian analisis konten atau isi. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Buku Sekolah Elektronik (BSE) siswa tematik terpadu kurikulum 2013 terbitan Kemendikbud dengan objek penelitian soal IPA pada buku siswa tematik terpadu tema 1 kelas V SD/MI. Hasil penelitian ini soal IPA yang terdapat pada Buku Siswa Tematik Terpadu Tema 1 Kelas V SD/MI sudah memiliki soal yang termasuk kriteria soal HOTS. Soal HOTS IPA yang ada pada buku tersebut sebanyak 8 butir soal. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini yaitu soal HOTS IPA yang ada pada buku tema lebih sedikit daripada jumlah butir soal LOTS IPA. ----- This research is based on the demands of 21st century education where education today demands that students be more active and must develop four skills that must be learned in the 21st century in supporting the education learning curriculum of 2013. One of the changes to the 2013 curriculum is the recommended use of textbooks published by the Ministry of Education. The textbook is not only used by students, but can assist teachers in preparing the learning process. Therefore, in the book are there learning questions that can train students in the 21st century where the questions are oriented on hots development questions. This research aims to describe the results of the analysis of natural science questions in the book of integrated thematic students reviewed from the development of higher order thinking skills and make updates to questions of lower order thinking skills in book of integrated thematic students 1st theme class V elementary school that correspond to the development of questions of higher order thinking skills. This type of research is a study using qualitative research methods with the design of research or content analysis. The data source used in this study is the Electronic School Book (ESB) unified thematic students curriculum 2013 Issue of Kemendikbud with research object of natural science questions on the book of integrated thematic students 1st theme class V elementary school. The results of this research about natural science questions in the book of of integrated thematic students 1st theme class V elementary school already have questions that include criteria about higher order thinking skills. There are 8 questions of higher order thinking skills of natural science in the book. There are 13 questions of lower order thinking skills of natural science in the book. The conclusssion of this research is the questions of higher order thinking skills of natural science less than the questions of higher order thinking skills of natural.
