Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya kemampuan menulis sajak siswa kelas X-AK-A SMK Puragabaya. Adanya Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan: 1) Kemampuan menulis sajak siswa sebelum menggunakan modél pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray, 2) kemampuan menulis sajak siswa sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray, 3) beda yang signifikan antara kemampuan menulis sajak siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan modél pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah 34 siswa kelas X-AK-A SMK Puragabaya tahun ajar 2019/2020. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kuasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif menggunakan desain one group pre-test and post-test design. Teknik yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik tes lalu dianalisis menggunakan aplikasi SPSS ver.18. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu: 1) kemampuan menulis sajak siswa sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray yang rata-rata nilainya 64,82; 2) kemampuan menulis sajak siswa sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray yang rata-rata nilainya 73,88; 3) beda yang signifikan antara kemampuan menulis sajak siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray, terlihat dari nilai signifikan (Sig.2-tailed) yaitu 0,000 < 0,05. Artinya H1 diterima atau Ho ditolak. Artinya ada perbedaan yang signifikan antara kemampuan menulis sajak sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray. Maka dari itu, model pembelajaran Two Stay Two Stray bisa meningkatkan kemampuan menulis sajak siswa kelas X-AK0A SMK Puragabaya tahun ajar 2019/2020. TWO STAY TWO STRAY (TS-TS) TEACHING METHOD IN POETRY WIRING SKILL (A Quasi Study Experiment on studenst of class X-AK-A SMK PURAGABAYA year 2019/2020)1 Abstract This research is motivated by the low poetry writing skill on X-AK-A students of SMK Puragabaya. This research is conducted to describe: 1) Student’s poetry writing skills before using Two Stay Two Stray teaching method, 2) Student’s poetry writing skills after using Two Stay Two Stray teaching method, 3) Comparison of students poetry writing skills before and after using Two Stay Two Stray teaching method. The experiment is applied on 34 students of class X-AK-A in SMK Puragabaya 2019/2020. The experiment using Quasi Experiment method with quantitative using one group pre-test and post-test design. The test result then analyzed by SPSS v.18. The result of this research is: 1) Before the teaching method is applied, the average result of student’s poetry writing skills test is 64,82; 2) After the teaching method is applied, the average result of student’s poetry writing skills test is 73,88; 3) The difference of the students poetry writing skills test before and after teaching method applied is 0,000 < 0,05. Hence, H1 accepted or H0 is rejected. This shows that there is a significant increase of students poetry writing skills before and after using Two Stay Two Stray teaching method on X-AK-A students of SMK Puragabaya 2019/2020.
