Abstract
Pentingnya pemberian pendidikan anak usia dini yang berkualitas akan berpengaruh pada masa depan seseorang. Pendidikan yang berkualitas memerlukan pendidik yang mempunyai keahlian khusus dibidangnya dan tanggungjawab yang besar. Pendidikan yang berkualitas apabila guru dapat menampilkan keempat kompetensinya yakni; pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial dan profesional. Selama ini guru dituntut agar dapat meningkatkan kompetensinya dalam pengembangan pembelajaran, tetapi kerja keras yang telah diupayakan belum setara dengan upah yang sepadan sehingga kesejahteraan hidupya tidak terpenuhi dengan baik seperti yang telah ditetapkan oleh UU No. 14 tahun 2005 tentang guru dan dosen berhak memperoleh; tunjangan profesi, penghargaan dan cuti. Maka dari itu tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan kesejahteraan guru dengan kinerja guru RA di wilayah Kecamatan Karawaci Kota Tangerang Banten. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif korelasional, dengan data yang diperoleh secara langsung atau primer mencakup guru RA di Kecamatan Karawaci sebanyak 36 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 64% kesejahteraan guru belum sesuai dengan UUD dan 50% kinerja guru menunjukkan kategori yang sudah kompeten dan terdapat hubungan yang positif antara kesejahteraan dengan kinerja guru RA berdasarkan nilai koefisien determinasi sebesar 30% kontribusi kesejahteraan guru mempengaruhi kinerja guru RA di Kecamatan Karawaci Kota Tangerang Banten. Kata Kunci: Kesejahteraan, Kinerja Guru, PAUD The importance of providing quality early childhood education will affect a person's future. A quality education requires educators who have special expertise in their fields and large responsibilities. A Quality education if the teacher can display the four competences, namely; pedagogic, personality, social and professional. So far, teachers are required to be able to improve their competence in learning development, but the hard work that has been strived is not rewarded with a commensurate wage so that their welfare is not fulfilled properly as stipulated by laws and regulations No. 14 of 2005 about teachers and lecturers are entitled to receive; professional allowances, awards and a leave. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between teacher welfare and RA teacher performance in the Karawaci District, Tangerang City, Banten. The method used in this research is correlational descriptive, with data obtained directly include RA teachers in Karawaci District as many as 36 respondents. The results showed that 64% of teacher welfare was not in accordance with the Constitution and 50% of teacher performance indicated that the category was competent and there was a positive relationship between welfare and RA teacher performance based on the value of the coefficient of determination of 30% of the contribution of teacher welfare affecting the performance of RA teachers in Karawaci Kota District.
