Abstract
ABSTRAK Keterampilan sosial merupakan keterampilan pada tindakan moral yang diekspresikan secara kultural, seperti berbagi, membantu seseorang, bekerja sama dengan orang lain dan mengungkapkan simpati. Dan metode bermain peran dapat digunakan dan cukup efektif dalam mengembangkan keterampilan sosial pada anak karena ana memainkan peran dalam situasi kehidupan yang sebenarnya, melepas emosi, mempraktikkan kemampuan berbahasa, membangun keterampilan sosial dan mengekspresikan diri dengan kreatif. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh munculnya berbagai masalah mengenai keterampilan sosial anak di Desa Cikampek Utara. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keefektifan metode bermain peran terhadap keterampilan sosial anak usia dini di Desa Cikampek Utara, Karawang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan Single Subject Research (SSR). Desain yang digunakan adalah desain A-B-A’. Subjek pada penelitian ini empat anak di Desa Cikampek Utara yang memiliki masalah dalam keterampilan sosial. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada keterampilan sosial anak. Hal ini terlihat dari hasil analisis peningkatan keterampilan sosial pada anak sebelum dan setelah dilaksanakan metode bermain peran sangat berbeda. Artinya, setelah pemberian treatmen metode bermain peran, keterampilan sosial anak mulai mengalami peningkatan dibandingkan sebelum diberikan treatmen. ABSTRACT Social skills need to be developed because social skills refer to moral actions that are expressed culturally, such as sharing, helping someone, cooperating with others and expressing sympathy. And the role playing method is a method that can be used and is quite effective in developing social skills in children because children play a role in real life situations, release emotions, practice language skills, build social skills and express themselves creatively. This research was motivated by the emergence of various problems regarding children's social skills in Cikampek Utara Village. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the role playing method on early childhood social skills in Cikampek Utara Village, Kotabaru District, Karawang Regency. The approach used in this study is the Single Subject Research (SSR) approach. The design used is the A-B-A 'design. The subjects in this study were four children in Cikampek Utara Village who had problems in social skills. Based on the results of research conducted, showed an increase in children's social skills. This can be seen based on the results of observations in each phase. The results of the analysis showed that the increase in social skills in children before and after the role playing method was very different. A different thing was seen after giving role-playing method treatments, the children's social skills began to improve compared to before being given the treatment.
