Abstract

Ketercapaian kurikulum 2013 ditandai dengan tercapainya kompetensi kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi atau HOTS. Dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran kurikulum 2013 berbasis HOTS perlu dilengkapi dengan serangkaian perangkat pembelajaran. Perangkat pembelajaran berupa silabus, RPP dan instrumen penilaian. Faktualnya implementasi HOTS pada kegiatan pembelajaran sudah dilakukan dengan baik namun dalam penilaian kegitan pembelajaran masih belum memenuhi kriteria HOTS. Penelitian ini memfokuskan pengembangan instrumen penilaian berbasis HOTS. Instrumen penilaian yang digunakan yaitu tes objektif pilihan ganda dikarenakan kepraktisan dalam menilai berbagai level kognitif, hal ini sesuai dengan kebutuhan dalam pengembangan butir soal. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka peneliti mengadakan penelitian yang berjudul “Pengembangan Butir Soal Berbasis Higher Order of Thinking Skills (HOTS) pada Pembelajaran IPS Di Kelas V SD”. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan model D&D menurut Preffers, dkk. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan telaah kualitatif dan rumus Aiken’s V. Adapun hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pengembangan instrumen penilaian berbentuk butir soal berbasis HOTS pada pembelajaran IPS di kelas V SD. Dalam uji validasi instrumen oleh ketiga ahli, terdapat dua hasil yaitu hasil telaah kualitatif yang menunjukkan tingkat kualitas butis soal 100% untuk kesesuaian materi, 85% untuk konstruksi butir soal dan 90% untuk aspek kebahasan. Hasil uji validitas menggunakan rumus Aiken’s V menghasilkan nilai dengan rentang 0,77 sampai 1,00 untuk 20 butir soal, dengan kriteria tingkat valid sebesair 0,70; hal ini menunjukan instrumen penilaian berbentuk butir soal dinyatakan valid. Dalam estimasi reliabilitas menggunakan SPSS 20, hasil yang didapatkan sebanyak 0,75, dengan kriteria minimal reliabel sebesar 0,70. Hal ini menunjukan instrumen dinyatakan reliabel. Maka dapat disimpulkan, instrumen penilaian berbentuk butir soal berbasis HOTS pada pembelajaran IPS dinyatakan valid dan reliabel untuk digunakan sebagai instrumen penilaian. In fact, the implementation of HOTS in learning activities has been carried out well, but in the assessment of learning activities it still does not meet the HOTS criteria. This study focuses on developing HOTS-based assessment instrumens. The assessment instrumen used is a multiple choice objective test due to its practicality in assessing various cognitive levels, this is in accordance with the needs in developing the items. Based on this, the researcher conducted a study entitled "Development of Question Items Based on Higher Order of Thinking Skills (HOTS) in Social Studies Learning in Class V SD". This type of research uses the D&D model according to Preffers, et al. The data analysis technique used was qualitative analysis and Aiken's V formula. The results of this study were the development of an assessment instrumen in the form of HOTS-based items in social studies learning in grade V SD. In the instrumen validation test by the three experts, there are two results, namely the results of a qualitative study that shows the quality level of questions about 100% for material suitability, 85% for item construction and 90% for language aspects. The validity test results using the Aiken's V formula produce values with a range of 0.77 to 1.00 for 20 items, with a valid criteria level of 0.70; This shows that the assessment instrumen in the form of items is declared valid. In estimating reliability using SPSS 20, the results obtained were 0.75, with the minimum reliability criteria of 0.70. This shows that the instrumen is declared reliable. So it can be concluded, the assessment instrumen in the form of HOTS-based items in social studies learning is declared valid and reliable to be used as an assessment instrumen.
