Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan utuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran ARIAS berbantuan kartu aksi terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa pada pembelajaran tematik kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Wancimekar kecamatan Kotabaru. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pre-eksperimen berbasis single subyek dengan menggunakan desain one group design. Sampel penelitian ini siswa kelas IV, dengan jumlah siswa 6 orang. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode tes uraian, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan analisis pretest-posttest, nilai N-Gain dan uji koefisien determinasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa, rata-rata pretest pemahaman konsep siswa menunjukan kategori baik dengan presentase 80%. sedangkan hasil analisis indikator menunjukan bahwa memberi contoh merupakan indikator dengan presentase tertinggi yaitu dengan jumlah presentase 100%, kemudian menjelaskan dengan presentase 78% dan menyimpulkan dengan presentase terendah yaitu dengan presentase sebesar 67%. Setelah diberi perlakuan hasil rata-rata posttest pemahaman konsep siswa mengalami peningkatan, hal tersebut ditunjukan dengan nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,8 berada pada kategori tinggi. Serta berdasarkan hasil uji koefisien determeniasi, diketahui bahwa model pembelajaran ARIAS berbantuan kartu aksi memiliki pengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa sebesar 83,4%. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran ARIAS berbantuan kartu aksi berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri Wancimekar 1 Kecamatan Kotabaru. This study aims to determine the effect of the ARIAS learning model assisted by action cards on students' conceptual understanding of thematic learning in class IV Wancimekar Elementary School, Kotabaru district. This type of research is a single subject pre-experimental study using one group design. The sample of this research is fourth grade students, with a total of 6 students. Data collection in this study was carried out using the test description method, then analyzed using the pretest-posttest analysis, the N-Gain value and the coefficient of determination test. The results showed that, on average, the students' understanding of the concept pretest showed a good category with a percentage of 80%. While the results of the indicator analysis show that giving an example is the indicator with the highest percentage, namely the percentage of 100%, then explaining the percentage of 78% and concluding with the lowest percentage, namely the percentage of 67%. After being given the treatment, the average posttest result of students' concept understanding has increased, this is indicated by an average N-Gain value of 0.8 which is in the high category. And based on the results of the coefficient of determination test, it is known that the ARIAS learning model assisted by action cards has an influence on students' conceptual understanding by 83.4%. Thus, the ARIAS learning model assisted with action cards affects the conceptual understanding of fourth grade students at SD Negeri Wancimekar 1, Kotabaru District.
