    Abstract

    Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan yang ada kerkait sarana prasarana yang kurang merata sebagai salah satu penyebab rendahnya kualitas siswa dan mutu pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang, menerapkan dan mendokumentasikan metode pembelajaran Computer Science Unplugged (CSU) untuk mata pelajaran Administrasi Infrastuktur Jaringan pada materi routing, untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran CSU terhadap peningkatan kognitif siswa.Terdapat tahapan yang disusun untuk pembuatan ide CSU antara lain penentuan tahap dan pemilihan topik materi, pemilihan ide CSU, penentuan ide CSU untuk Materi Routing, Penyusunan Langkah-langkah Pembelajaran, Alat dan bahan peraga. Dari penelitian ini didapatkan hasil: (1) Metode Pembelajaran CSU dalam materi Routing didapatkan dari hasil angket siswa sebesar 85,3% dan hasil angket guru sebesar 82,5% yang diinterpretasikan “Sangat Baik”. 2) Metode Pembelajaran CSU dapat meningkatkan hasil kognitif siswa diperoleh dari rata-rata indeks gain sebesar 0,52 dengan kriteria efektivitas “Sedang”. This research is based on the problem that there are uneven infrastructure facilities as one of the causes of low quality of students and the quality of education in Indonesia. This research aims to design, implement and document Computer Science Unplugged (CSU) learning methods in the form for Network Infrastructure Administration subjects on routing materials, to determine how CSU learning methods affect student cognitive enhancement. There are stages structured for the creation of CSU ideas including stage determination and selection of material topics, selection of CSU ideas, determination of CSU ideas for Routing Materials, Preparation of Learning Steps, Tools and props. From this study obtained results: (1) CSU Learning Method in Routing material obtained from student questionnaire results of 85.3% and teacher poll results of 82.5% interpreted "Excellent". 2) CSU Learning Method can improve students' cognitive results obtained from an average gain index of 0.52 with "Moderate" effectiveness criteria.
