Abstract
Penelitian dilakukan karena rendahnya pemahaman konsep siswa kelas IVA SDN Cikampek Utara II terlihat dari hasil pre-test yang masih banyak siswa memiliki hasil dibawah KKM sebesar ≥70. Untuk memperbaiki hal tersebut peneliti menerapkan model Example Non Example pada proses pembelajaran. Adapun tujuan peneliti adalah : 1) Menganalisis aktivitas siswa selama menerapkan model example non example, 2) Mengetahui kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas IVA SDN Cikampek Utara II setelah menerapakan model example non example. Salah satu model yang diterapkan yaitu model example non example dengan kemampuan siswa mengamati gambar kemudian menganalisis sebuah konsep. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), dengan pelaksanaanya sebanyak dua siklus. Subjek penelitian siswa kelas IV SDN Cikampek Utara II yang melibatkan sebanyak 18 orang. Hasil penelitian dengan penerapan model example non example menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pada setiap siklusnya. Pada hasil pre-test siswa memiliki rata-rata 52,02 dengan ketuntasan belajar sebesar 13,15% kemudian dilihat dari hasil postes siklus I yang memiliki rata-rata 78,08 dengan ketuntasan belajar sebesar 77,78% sedangkan pada siklus II memiliki rata-rata 81,6 dengan ketuntasan belajar sebesar 88,89%. Adapun peningkatan yang terjadi pada aktivitas siswa dari siklus I sebesar 76% mengalami peningkatan menjadi 89% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model example non example dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa kelas IVA SDN Cikampek Utara II. Doing the research because of the low understanding concept students at IVA SDN Cikampek Utara II is seen from the pre-test results that many students have a result under the KKM of ≥ 70. To improve this, researchers apply the model of Example Non Example to the learning process. The purpose of the researcher is: 1) analyzing the activity of students during the model example non example, 2) knowing the ability to understand the concept of students at IVA class SDN Cikampek Utara II After applying model example non example. One model that is applied is the model example non example with the ability students observe the picture then analyze a concept. This method of research is using class action research (PTK), with the implementation of two cycles. A study subject of grade IV students at SDN Cikampek Utara II involving as many as 18 people. The results of the study with the example non example model showed an increase in each of its cycle. In the results of pre-test students have an average 52.02 with a study of 13.15% and then seen from the results of the Postes cycle I which has an average of 78.08 with a complete study of 77.78% while on the cycle II has an average 81.6 with a learning to the satisfaction of 88.89%. The increase that occurred in the student activity of cycle I of 76% experienced an increase to 89% in cycle II. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that model example non example can improve the ability to understand the concept of students of the class IVA SDN Cikampek Utara II.
