    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran mengenai kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada pembelajaran tematik khususnya pembelajaran IPS. Penelitian ini ialah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian studi kasus. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN 105327 Kecamatan Tanjung Morawa Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 3 dari 20 siswa kelas IV. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah wawancara, tes kemampuan berpikir kreatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara, tes kemampuan, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan cara mereduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Untuk memeriksa keabsahan data menggunakan teknik perpanjangan keikutsertaan, ketekunan pengamatan, dan triangulasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari tiga subyek yang di teliti hanya satu subyek yang kemampuan berpikir kreatif diatas rata-rata atau memenuhi indikator berpikir kreatif yaitu kelancaran, keluwesan, kebaruan, dan memerinci. Faktor penyebab kurangnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif yaitu faktor internal dan faktor eksternal. Solusi yang digunakan ialah menumbuhkan minat belajar, mengubah kebiasaan belajar siswa dan dorongan dari orang tua dan guru serta penggunaan alat peraga.

    This study aims to determine the description of students' creative thinking skills in thematic learning, especially social studies learning. This research is a qualitative descriptive study with a case study research type. This research was conducted at SDN 105327, Tanjung Morawa District, Deli Serdang Regency. The subjects of this study were 3 of 20 grade IV students. The instruments used were interviews, tests of creative thinking skills. Data collection was carried out by means of interviews, ability tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique was done by reducing the data, presenting the data, and drawing conclusions. To check the validity of the data, participation extension techniques, observation persistence, and triangulation were used. The results showed that of the three subjects studied, only one subject had the ability to think creatively above average or meet the indicators of creative thinking, namely fluency, flexibility, novelty, and detail. The factors causing the lack of creative thinking skills are internal and external factors. The solution used is to foster interest in learning, change student learning habits and encouragement from parents and teachers and the use of teaching aids.
