Abstract
Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan tentang kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas V dengan indikator menyatakan peristiwa sehari-hari dalam bahasa simbol matematika, menghubungkan benda nyata, gambar, dan diagram ke dalam ide matematika, kemampuan memahami dan mengevaluasi ide-ide matematik dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan sehari-hari secara tertulis, menjelaskan ide, situasi, dan relasi matematika secara lisan atau tulisan, dengan benda nyata, gambar, diagram, grafik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian analisis kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitiannya yaitu enam siswa yang berada di lingkungan sekitar peneliti. Pengambilan data dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni 2020. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data yang telah diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dalam bentuk deskripsi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa kelas V sedang, hal ini dibuktikan dari dua subjek memiliki kemampuan komunikasi matematis tinggi, satu subjek lain memiliki kemampuan sedang dan tiga subjek lainnya memiliki kemampuan rendah. Indikator yang paling dominan muncul pada siswa yaitu indikator mampu menghubungkan benda nyata, gambar, dan diagram ke dalam ide matematika. Selanjutnya indikator yang paling sedikit muncul pada siswa yaitu indikator menjelaskan ide, situasi, dan relasi matematika secara lisan atau tulisan, dengan benda nyata, gambar, diagram, grafik. Sedangkan untuk indikator menyatakan peristiwa sehari-hari dalam bahasa simbol matematika dan kemampuan memahami dan mengevaluasi ide-ide matematik dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan sehari-hari secara tertulis mampu dimunculkan oleh tiga orang siswa. This research describes the mathematical communication skills of fifth grade students with indicators stating daily events in the language of mathematical symbols, connecting real objects, pictures, and diagrams into mathematical ideas, the ability to understand and evaluate mathematical ideas in solving everyday problems independently. Explaining ideas, situations, and mathematical relations verbally or in writing, with real objects, pictures, diagrams, graphs. This research is a descriptive qualitative analysis research. The research subjects were six students who were in the environment around the researchers. Data carried out in June 2020. Data collection techniques used were tests, interviews and documentation. The data that has been obtained is then analyzed in the form of data descriptions.The results showed that the mathematical communication skill of student class V is moderate, this is evidenced of two students had high mathematical communication skills, one other student had moderate ability and three other students had low ability. The most dominant indicator appears on students is the indicator is able to connect real objects, pictures and diagrams into mathematical ideas. Furthermore, the indicators that appear the least to students are indicators explaining ideas, situations, and mathematical relations verbally or in writing, with real objects, pictures, diagrams, graphs. As for the indicators stating daily events in the language of mathematical symbols and the ability to understand and evaluate mathematical ideas in solving everyday problems in writing were able to be raised by three students.
