Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran mengenai keterampilan abad 21 siswa SMA melalui Project Based Learning dengan Reading Infusion pada materi Kesetimbangan Benda Tegar. Penelitian yang telah dilakukan merupakan penelitian non-eksperimen dengan metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan teknik observasi selama kegiatan pembelajaran berlangsung dan penyebaran kuesioner setelah kegiatan pembelajaran selesai. Kegiatan observasi dilakukan dengan mengacu pada rubrik keterampilan abad 21 yang dirancang oleh Buck Institute of Education setelah dilakukan modifikasi pada beberapa aspek. Sampel yang digunakan adalah kelas XI IPA salah satu SMA di Kota Bandung. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan cara mengjumlahkan perolehan masing-masing indikator pada setiap keterampilan abad 21. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa presentase terbesar keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa berada pada kategori mendekati standar, keterampilan kolaborasi siswa mempunyai perolehan presentase yang sama pada kategori mendekati standar dan sesuai standar, keterampilan komunikasi berada pada kategori sesuai standar serta keterampilan kreativitas dan inovasi siswa berada pada kategori mendekati standar. Kata Kunci: Keterampilan abad 21, Project Based Learning, Reading Infusion. ABSTRACT This research aims to obtain an overview of student’s 21st century skills through Project Based Learning with Reading Infusion on The Equilibrium of Rigid Body. The research has been done is a non-experimental study with the research method used is a descriptive quantitative method. Data collection is obtained by observation techniques during the learning activities and the dissemination of questionnaires after the learning activity was completed. Observation activities are carried out in reference to the 21st century skills rubric designed by Buck Institute of Education after modifications were made on several aspects. The sample used is class XI IPA one of the high schools in Bandung. Data processing did by summing up the acquisition of each indicator on each 21st century skill. The results showed that students' critical thinking skills were in the approaching-standard category, student collaboration skills were in the approaching-standard and according standard categories, communication skills were in the category according to standards and student’s creativity and innovation skills were in the approaching-standard category.
