Abstract
This research is based on the background of the problem of understanding playing futsal students in extracurricular activities, the purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between cognitive functions on improving sensor-based futsal skills. The population in this study were students of SMAN 17 Bandung who participated in futsal extracurricular activities. Sampling using purposive sampling technique as many as 12 students. The research method used in this study is the experimental method using the One Group Pretest Post Test Design design. Research instruments for cognition functions are Grid Exercise, Digit Span Test and TPA. For basic futsal skills, passing, dribbling and shooting and the Zepp sensor, which consists of measuring cruising on the field, kick speed and number of kicks. The results of processing and data analysis showed that the test results obtained p-value of 0.295 on futsal skills, then obtained p-value of 0.025 on futsal skills (sensors), and obtained p-value of 0.017 on futsal and sensor skills. Then the hypothesis is accepted and proven. So it can be concluded that the function of cognition has a positive correlation with the results of futsal skills in students of SMAN 17 Bandung.
