Abstract

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pembelajaran Literasi Musik Berbasis Cooperative Learning pada Miracle Choir UPI.” Literasi musik dalam penelitian ini dibatasi pada membaca dan menulis notasi balok. Cooperative learning tipe STAD (Students Teams Achievement Division) adalah sistem pembelajaran yang memberi kesempatan kepada peserta didik bekerjasama dan saling membantu untuk menguasai keterampilan yang diajarkan. Penelitian ini mengkaji penerapan cooperative learning tipe STAD untuk mengembangkan kemampuan membaca dan menulis notasi balok anggota paduan suara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah action research dan dilaksanakan delapan kali pertemuan. Jumlah sampel terdiri dari enam belas orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan cooperative learning tipe STAD dalam pembelajaran literasi musik membutuhkan seorang pemimpin pada setiap kelompoknya. Dan yang menjadi pemimpin adalah mereka yang telah memiliki kemampuan minimal pada tahap verbal association. Melalui STAD ini kemampuan literasi musik anggota paduan suara mengalami peningkatan dan mereka menguasai empat lagu yang terdiri dari tiga lagu canon dan satu lagu dalam bentuk empat suara (SATB). This research, titled “Music Literacy Learning Based on Cooperative Learning in Miracle Choir UPI, limits the music literacy on reading and writing music notation. STAD (Students Teams Achievement Division) type Cooperative Learning is a learning system that gives a chance for students to cooperate and support each other to cope with the skill taught by the study. This study reviews the application of STAD type Cooperative Learning to expand the choir members knowledge in reading and writing music notation. Action research is used as the methodology of the study within eight meetings. Sixteen participants were taken as sample. The findings showed that the application of STAD type Cooperative Learning needs a leader in each group. The leader must be the one who already has ability at verbal association stage. Through STAD, choir members music literacy skill increased and they mastered four song; three canon songs and one song in four voice type (SATB).
