Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatan kemampuan koneksi matematis peserta didik antara yang memperoleh pembelajaran model MMP dengan yang memperoleh pembelajaran model DL ditinjau berdasarkan keseluruhan dan kelompok KAM serta melihat pencapaian habits of mind peserta didik antara yang memperoleh pembelajaran model MMP dengan yang memperoleh pembelajaran model DL. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi-experimental dengan populasi seluruh kelas XI IPA pada salah satu SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Kuningan. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan dua kelas yang diambil sebagai sampel penelitian yaitu kelas MMP terdiri dari 35 orang peserta didik dan kelas DL terdiri dari 35 orang peserta didik. Data penelitian yang dianalisa dengan analisis kuantitatif diperoleh dari hasil pretest dan posttest instrumen kemampuan koneksi matematis serta hasil post-response angket persepsi habits of mind, sementara data yang dianalisa dengan analisis kualitatif diperoleh dari hasil observasi dan hasil wawancara. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa 1) peningkatan koneksi matematis peserta didik yang memperoleh pembelajaran model MMP lebih tinggi daripada peserta didik yang memperoleh pembelajaran model DL ditinjau berdasarkan keseluruhan dengan selisih rerata N-gain sebesar 14% ; 2) peningkatan koneksi matematis peserta didik yang memperoleh pembelajaran model MMP lebih tinggi daripada peserta didik yang memperoleh pembelajaran DL ditinjau dari kelompok KAM dengan selisih rerata N-gain sebesar 18% pada kelompok tinggi, 23% pada kelompok sedang, dan 7% pada kelompok bawah ; 3) pencapaian habits of mind peserta didik yang memperoleh pembelajaran model MMP lebih baik daripada peserta didik yang memperoleh pembelajaran model DL ditinjau dari keseluruhan. ;---This study aims to improve students 'mathematical connection abilities between those who learned the MMP model and those who obtained DL model learning based on the overall and KAM groups and saw the achievement of students' habits of mind between those who learned the MMP model and those who received DL model learning as a whole. . The research design used was quasi-experimental with a population of all XI science classes in one of the state high schools in Kuningan Regency. The research sample was taken using purposive sampling technique with two classes taken as the research sample namely MMP class consisting of 35 students and DL class consisting of 35 students. The research data analyzed with quantitative analysis obtained from the results of the pretest and posttest instruments of mathematical connection ability and the results of post-response questionnaire perception of habits of mind, while the data analyzed with qualitative analysis was obtained from the results of observations and interviews. The results of the data analysis showed that 1) the increase in mathematical connections of students who learned the MMP model was higher than the students who received the DL model learning based on overall with a difference in the average N-gain of 14%; 2) the increase in mathematical connections of students who learned the MMP model was higher than students who received DL learning in terms of the KAM group with a difference in average N-gain of 18% in the high group, 23% in the moderate group, and 7% in the lower group ; 3) the achievement of the habits of mind of students who get the MMP model learning is better than students who obtain DL model learning in terms of the whole.
