Abstract
This research was carried out in the background by the teacher's performance problems at SMAN 3 Cimahi. which has decreased over the past three years. With the decline in performance experienced by the teacher at SMAN 3, if allowed to continue there will be a decline in the quality of students at SMAN 3 Cimahi. As for the objectives to be achieved in this study is to find data and information on the influence of motivation on the work performance of SMAN 3 Cimahi employees . The research method used is descriptive and verification method with a population of 81 employees. The analysis technique used is Pearson product moment correlation coefficient and simple linear regression analysis. Then to test the research hypothesis, a t-test is used to determine the level of significance of the correlation coefficient between the two variables studied. The results showed that motivation and performance were in the high category, with the results of the calculation of the coefficient of determination of 76.91% with a high classification.
