Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya kemampuan membaca peserta didik dalam memahami atau menyerap isi bacaan; penerapan strategi pembelajaran membaca di sekolah yang masih kurang tepat; serta penggunaan media yang kurang dan dirasa membosankan. Metode penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen kuasi dengan desain atau rancangan penelitian noequivalent control group desain. Peneliti memilih strategi REAP dikarenakan sintak dalam strategi ini dapat membantu siswa dalam proses memahami isi bacaan secara mendalam, serta media yang digunakan yaitu aplikasi video scribe dapat membantu pendidik dalam menyampaikan materi secara menarik. Hasil dari penelitian dihitung dengan menggunakan Uji Mann Withneyy yang menunjukkan signifikansi tes awal dan tes akhir 0,000 < 0,05. Maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Artinya, terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil pembelajaran membaca pemahaman peserta didik yang mendapat perlakuan strategi REAP berbantuan media aplikasi video scribe. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa strategi REAP berbantuan media aplikasi video scribe efektif untuk pembelajaran membaca pemahaman karena dapat meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran di kelas eksperimen dengan signifikan.;---This research regarding observations of participants' reading comprehension abilities student The background is the lack of ability to read participants learners in understanding or absorbing the content of reading and applying strategies reading learning in schools which is still inappropriate, and use media that is lacking and feels boring. This type of research is quasi-experimental research design or research design noequivalent control group design. Researcher choose a quasi experiment method because in reality not allvariables can be controlled, so the experimental method is quasi-design this is more suitable to be applied in research that researchers do. Result of the research was calculated using the Withneyy Mann Testshows the significance of the initial test and the final test of 0,000 & lt; 0.05. Then H0 rejected and H1 accepted. That is, there are significant differences between the results of learning to read the understanding of students who get REAP strategy treatment with the help of the scribe video application media. Could concluded that the REAP strategy is aided by the scribe video application media effective for reading comprehension learning because it can significantly improve learning outcomes in the experimental class.
