Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh situasi dilapangan, dimana pembelajaran matematika yang dilaksanakan di lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini belum sesuai dengan tingkat perkembangan anak, dimana pembelajaran matematika yang diberikan cenderung bersifat akademik seperti mengajarkan konsep matematika dengan metode driil dan paper pencil. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pembelajaran matematika berbasis alam di TK Sekolah Alam Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain penelitian studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis data tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan: pertama, Perencanaan pembelajaran matematika berbasis alam di TK Sekolah Alam Bandung dimulai dengan membuat lesson plan, weekly plan, dan action/dynamic plan. Pembelajaran matematika dirancang secara terintegrasi dengan bidang pengembangan sains dan daya pikir. Kedua, pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika berbasis alam di TK Sekolah Alam Bandung dilaksanakan dilingkungan alam sekitar melalui kegiatan-kegiatan konkrit yang melibatkan anak secara langsung. Kegiatan tersebut meliputi kegiatan pembelajaran matematika dalam kegiatan jelajah alam, pembelajaran matematika dalam kegiatan detektif alam, pembelajaran matematika dalam kegiatan outbond, kegiatan mengumpulkan rumput, menghitung dan menebak bentuk batu, menyusun dan menulis lambang bilangan di atas tanah, mengukur banyak-sedikit air. Melalui kegiatan-kegiatan tersebut anak dapat dengan mudah menguasai konsep matematika sehingga indikator pencapaian kemampuan matematika anak dapat tercapai. Ketiga, penilaian pembelajaran matematika di TK Sekolah Alam Bandung berdasarkan observasi dan tes yang berpedoman pada indikator pembelajaran matematika. ;---The background of the research are the situations where mathematics learning carried out in early childhood education institutions is not in accordance with the level of child development and where mathematics learning provided tends to be academic in nature such as teaching mathematical concepts with drilling and paper pencil methods. The purpose of this study was to find out the nature-based mathematics learning at the school. This study uses a qualitative approach with case study research design, while data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation studies and data analysis uses thematic data analysis. The results of the study show: first, the planning of nature-based mathematics learning at thisschool begins by making lesson plans, weekly plans, and action / dynamic plans. Mathematical learning is designed integratively with the field of scientific development and logic. Second, the implementation of natural-based mathematics learning at TK Sekolah Alam Bandung is carried out in the natural environment through concrete activities that involve children directly. The implementation of natural-based mathematics learning includes activities such as natural roaming, natural detective, outbound, collecting grass, calculating and guessing stone shapes, composing and writing symbols on the ground and measuringthe quantity of water. Through these activities children can easily master the mathematical concepts so that indicators of achieving children's mathematical abilities can be achieved. Finally, assessment of mathematics learning is based on observations while tests are based on indicators of mathematics learning.
