Abstract
Tayangan Indonesia Bagus NET TV adalah suatu acara yang menyajikan keberagaman Indonesia, sejarah serta keindahan alamnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh tayangan Indonesia Bagus NET TV terhadap sikap toleransi siswa pada pembelajaran IPS di SMP Kartika XIX-2 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen kuasi dengan desain “non-equivalent control group design” dengan pola “sebelum” dan “sesudah” serta dilakukan treatment pada kelas VII-C sebagai kelompok kelas eksperimen. Sedangkan VII-A sebagai kelompok kelas kontrol yang dijadikan pembanding. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel bertujuan (purposive sample). Pengumpulan data sikap toleransi siswa menggunakan angket tertutup dengan data yang diperoleh melalui angket yang disebar kepada 63 siswa . Setelah data terkumpul, lalu dilakukan analisis secara kuantitatif melalui uji hipotesis atau Uji-t. Diperoleh hasil perbedaan antara “sebelum” dan “sesudah” pada kelas eksperimen yang diberikan treatment menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol antara “sebelum” dan “sesudah” yang tidak diberikan treatment hasilnya sama atau tidak ada peningkatan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat efektivitas dari tayangan Indonesia Bagus NET TV yang berpengaruh terhadap sikap toleransi siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS.;---The Show of Indonesia Bagus is an event that present the diversity of Indonesia, its hisotry and its natural beauty. This present study was aimed at investigating influence the show of Indonesia Bagus NET TV to attituted of student tolerance on social science learning at Junior High School of Kartika XIX-2 Bandung. The research employed quasi experimental study with non-equivalent control group design as well as pre- and post- giving treatment at 7C class as the experimental group, while 7A as the controlled group. The sample of the research was chosen by using purposive sample. Student tolerance data collection using closed questionnaire with data obtained through a questionnaire distributed to 63 students. The data were analyzed quantitatively by using t-test. The study revealed that the results between pre- and post- giving treatment gained by the experimental group showed significant difference. Whereas, the scores achieved in pre- and post- the treatment by the controlled group were alike or the scores had no improvement. Consequently, it can be concluded that use the show of Indonesia Bagus NET TV affected significantly on students’ tolerance on social science learning subject.
