Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan pentingnya pendidikan karakter pada anak usia dini, pendidikan karakter yang digunakan yaitu model Pendidikan Holistik Berbasis Karakter (PHBK) salah satu model yang diasumsikan dapat mengembangkan karakter disiplin. Fokus penelitian ini yaitu implementasi Pendidikan Holistik Berbasis Karakter (PHBK) dalam mengembangkan sikap disiplin anak. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan persiapan pembelajaran, proses pembelajaran, ke-khasan dan peran model Pendidikan Holistik Berbasis Karakter (PHBK) dalam mengembangkan karakter disiplin anak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Instrumen pengumpulan data berupa wawancara dan observasi.Teknik analisis tematik dan teori Lickona digunakan untuk menganalisis hasil penelitian ini Penelitian dilaksanakan di TK Z Majalengka, selama dua bulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bagaimana implementasi model Pendidikan Holistik Berbasis Karakter (PHBK) dalam mengembangkan sikap disiplin anak. Dari temuan-temuan data diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa model PHBK ini mempunyai peran dalam mengembangkan sikap disiplin. Adanya perubahan sikap disiplin yang lebih baik, tidak terlepas dari adanya peraturan, pembiasaan, penghargaan, bimbingan, pengawasan dan konsistensi dalam penerapan model Pendidikan Holistik Berbasis Karakter (PHBK) yang memiliki ke khas-an, yaitu dengan menekankan 9 (Sembilan) Pilar karakter serta media pembelajaran yang digunakan. Adapun beberapa rekomendasi yang diberikan diantaranya bahwa model Pendidikan Holistik Berbasis Karakter (PHBK) dapat dijadikan salah satu alternatif model yang dapat mengembangkan sikap disiplin anak dan karakter yang lainnya, namun efektivitas keberhasilannya ditentukan oleh langkah teknis yang sesuai dengan prosedur. ;---This research was conducted based on the importance of character education in early childhood, character education used is the Character Based Holistic Education (PHBK) model, one model that is assumed to be able to develop the character of discipline. The focus of this study is the implementation of Character Based Holistic Education (PHBK) in developing child discipline attitudes. The purpose of this study is to describe learning preparation, the learning process, Characteristics and the role of Character Based Holistic Education (PHBK) models, The research method used was qualitative with a case study design. Instruments for data collection in the form of interviews and observations. Thematic analysis techniques and Lickona theory were used to analyze the results of this study. The study was conducted at TK Z Majalengka, for two months. The results of this study show how the implementation of the Character Based Holistic Education (PHBK) model in developing child discipline attitudes. From the data findings, it can be concluded that this PHBK model has a role in developing disciplinary attitudesA change in a better disciplinary attitude is inseparable from the existence of regulations, habituation, appreciation, guidance, supervision and consistency in the application of the Character-Based Holistic Education (PHBK) model that has a characteristic. guidance, supervision and consistency in the application of the Character Based Holistic Education (PHBK) model that has its own characteristics, namely by emphasizing 9 (Nine) Pillars of characters and learning media used. The recommendations given include the Character Based Holistic Education (PHBK) model one alternative model that can develop child discipline and other character attitudes, but the effectiveness of its success is determined by technical steps in accordance with the procedure.
