Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pencapaian dan peningkatan kemampuan
berpikir kritis matematis serta respons siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran model
flipped classroom dan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran konvensional. Desain
penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah nonequivalent pretest-posttest
control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII di
salah satu SMP kota Bandung. Sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini sebanyak dua
kelas, dengan masing-masing kelas berjumlah 32 orang siswa. Cara pengambilan sampel
pada penelitian ini dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sample. Dengan menggunakan
uji t dapat disimpulkan bahwa pencapaian kemampuan berpikir kritis matematis antara
siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran flipped classroom lebih tinggi daripada
siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional, peningkatan kemampuan
berpikir kritis matematis siswa yang menggunakan model flipped classroom lebih tinggi
daripada siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional serta hampir
seluruh siswa memberikan respons positif terhadap pembelajaran matematika dengan
menggunakan model pembelajaran flipped classroom.
;---This research is design to find out the achievement and improvement of mathematical
critical thinking skills and responses of stundents who are taught with flipped classroom
models and those who are taught with conventional learning. The research design that is
used is nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The population for this
research is taken from all students grade VII in one of junior school in Bandung region.
Each class consists of 32 students. To get the sample for this research the writer used
purposive sample technique. By using the t test it can be concluded that the achievement
of the students’ critical mathematical thinking skills who are taught with flipped
classroom model is higher than those who are taught with conventional one, the
improvement of the student’s ability in critical mathematical thinking skills who are
taught with flipped classroom model are higher than those who are taught with the
conventional one and almost all students give positive responses toward Math learning
that is taught use flipped classroom model
