Abstract
The practice tool is one of the factors for administering education. Vocational high school is the level of education that focuses more education on practice activity, Therefore to administering education vocational high school must have the necessary tools and practical materials available to a specific industry or workshop. The purpose of this study is to establish the appropriateness of the development of automotive engineering programs in a vocational school with body repair workshop. This research was set back when implementing a field experience program on automotive engineering programs in vocational high school of 8 Bandung. The author found the constraint when going to teach at automotive workshops, the author needs to borrow tools to a major's workshop. The method of research used is that mix method with a descriptive approach. The sample in this study is a automotive engineering workshop. The data-collection techniques used are interviews, observations, questionnaire, and documentation. The techniques for data analysis done in this study use data tringulation and descriptive statistics. Research results show that practical tools of practice in practical instruments demonstrate a 92% percentage scale, which means that the attainment of rating criteria is very reasonable, And the appropriateness of the precurative material of practical material shows a 93% percentage scale, which means that the attainment of value-definition criteria is highly feasible.
