Abstract

Penggunaan atau penerapan alat ukur keterampilan pada kegiatan belajar mengajar disekolah masih sangat jarang ditemukan, jika ada maka penggunaannya masih belum efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas instrumen pengukuran keterampilan geografis. Instrumen ini dibuat berdasarkan konstruk keterampilan geografis yang diadaptasi dari Guidelines for Geographic Education, yaitu mengungkapkan pertanyaan geografis, memperoleh informasi geografis, mengorganisasi informasi geografis, menganalisis informasi geografis, dan menjawab pertanyaan geografis. Instrumen pengukuran keterampilan geografis yang dibuat ini hanya terbatas pada materi dinamika hidrosfer dan dampaknya terhadap kehidupan khususnya pada indikator siklus hidrologi dan perairan darat. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas X IIS 3 yang berjumlah 36 orang peserta didik dari SMA Negeri 16 Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode penelitian deskriptif. Metode Alpha Cronbach digunakan untuk menentukan tingkat reliabilitas instrumen yang dikembangkan. Pengujian validitas instrumen menggunakan validitas isi dan validitas empirik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa koefisien reliabilitas instrumen keterampilan geografis mendapat kategori sangat baik, analisis CVR dan CVI digunakan untuk menentukan validitas isi instrumen yang dikembangkan, hasil dari perhitungan CVR dan CVI mendapatkan kategori sangat sesuai, sementara korelasi Product Moment digunakan untuk menentukan validitas secara empiris dengan hasil seluruh soal tes dinyatakan valid. Selain itu penggunaan instrumen keterampilan geografis terhdap hasil belajar dapat dikatakan efektif. Dengan demikian, instrumen yang dikembangkan dapat dikategorikan sebagai instrumen yang baik karena instrumen tersebut valid dan reliabel serta efektif dalam mengukur hasil belajar peserta didik;---The use or application of measuring tools for skills in teaching and learning activities in schools is still very rarely found, if there is one then the use is still not effective. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of geographical skill measurement instruments. The instrument based on geographical skill who adapted from Guidelines for Geographic Education, such as asking geographic quetion, acquiring geographic information, organizing geographic information, analyzing geographic information, and answering geographic quetion. Developing of Geographic skills measurement instrument is limited to hydrosphere dynamics and their impact on life course material, especially on hydrological and inland water cycles indicators. Subjects of this study are 36 students of X IIS 3 class from SMA Negeri 16 Bandung.This this research use descriptive method. The Cronbach Alpha method is used to determine the level of reliability of the instrument. Testing validity instrument using content and empirical validity. The results shows that reliability coefficient of geographic skills instruments has very good category. CVR and CVI analysis were used to determine the validity of the developed instrument contents are show very appropriate category. The Product Moment correlation results shows that all test questions are declared valid. In addition, the use of geographical skill instruments on learning outcomes can be said to be effective Thus, The developed instrument can be categorized as good instrument because its valid and reliable and effective in measuring student learning outcomes.
