Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan yang terjadi pada siswa di kelas VIII-D Mts Al-Inayah Kota Bandung yang ditemukan peneliti pada saat melaksanakan observasi awal yaitu rendahnya sikap kerjasama pada pembelajaran IPS. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan desain penelitian Kemmis and Mc. Taggart yang terdiri dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi dalam 3 siklus. Alternatif pemecah masalah yang dipilih peneliti yaitu menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe numbered head together. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Alat pengumpulan data atau instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah catatan lapangan, lembar observasi guru, lembar observasi siswa dan pedoman wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe numbered head together dapat meningkatkan sikap kerjasama siswa karena di setiap siklusnya mengalami kenaikan yang cukup signifikan, dengan memperoleh hasil siklus I dalam kategori cukup dengan presentase 61,66%, siklus II dalam kategori baik dengan presentase 78,88% dan siklus III dalam kategori baik dengan presentase 85,55%. Adapun peningkatan sikap kerjasama siswa dapat dilihat dari perubahan setiap indikatornya yaitu siswa saling bekerjasama dalam menyelesaikan tugas, aktif dalam mengungkapkan pendapat, dan menerima pendapat orang lain pada saat diskusi berlangsung. Berdasarkan hasil Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang telah dilaksanakan di kelas VIII-D Mts Al-Inayah Kota Bandung maka dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe numbered head together dapat meningkatkan sikap kerjasama siswa pada pembelajaran IPS. Kata Kunci: Model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe numbered head together, kerjasama siswa, pembelajaran IPS --------- This research is initiated by the problem that happened at young leaners at VIII-D junior high school of Al-Inayah Bandung. It was founded by the researcher at her first observation, exactly to improve students collaboration attitude in the social studies. This research using the model of Classroom Action Research (CAR) designed by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart which consists of stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection in 3 cycles. Alternative solution chosen by the researcher is to apply cooperative learning model type numbered head together. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. Data collection tools or research instruments used are field notes, teacher observation sheets, student observation sheets and interview guidelines. The results showed of cooperative learning model type numbered head together to improve students collaboration attitude because in the each cycle experienced a significant increase, by getting the results of the first cycle in the category enough with a percentage of 61.66%, the second cycle in the good category with a percentage of 78.88% and the third cycle in the good category with a percentage of 85.55%. The improvement students collaboration attitude can be seen from the changes in each indicator, such as students cooperate with each other in completing assignments, active in expressing opinions, and accepting the opinions of others when the discussion takes place. Based on the results of Classroom Action Research (CAR) that have been carried out in VIII-D class junior high school of Al-Inayah Bandung, it can be concluded the implementation of cooperative learning model type numbered head together to improve students collaboration attitude in the social studies.
