Abstract

Penelitian berfokus pada pemahaman karir anak usia dini ini dilatarbelakangi oleh fenomena kesalahan persepsi anak usia dini terhadap beberapa pekerjaan yang berada di lingkungan sekitarnya. Tujuan umum dari penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan bimbingan karir yang efektif untuk mengembangkan pemahaman karir anak usia dini. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode pra eksperimen dengan one group pretest and posttest design dengan teknik stratified random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 17 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen pemahaman karir anak usia dini dalam bentuk gambar yang diberikan dalam bentuk wawancara dan observasi serta memiliki format penilaian terpisah yang diisi oleh guru kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bimbingan karir melalui teknik role playing efektif untuk mengembangkan karir anak usia dini dengan adanya peningkatan pemahaman karir siswa secara umum yang terlihat dari selisih nilai pretest dan posttest serta dari hasil uji analisis menggunakan uji paired sample t-test. Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk guru kelas untuk memanfaatkan hasil penelitian ini sebagai rujukan dalam penerapan pembelajaran materi tematik tentang profesi umum di Taman Kanak-Kanak.---------The research focused on career knowledge of early childhood is motivated by the phenomenon of miss-perception of early childhood towards some work in the surrounding environment. The general objective of this research is to produce effective career guidance to develop a career knowledge of early childhood. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method with one group pretest and posttest design with a stratified random sampling technique with a sample of 17 students. The instrument used is an instrument of early childhood career knowledge in the form of images provided in the form of interviews and observations and has a separate assessment format filled out by class teachers. The results show that career guidance through role-playing techniques was effective in developing early childhood careers with an increase in student career knowledge in general as seen from the difference in the pretest and posttest scores and from the results of the analysis test using paired sample t-test. This study is intended for teachers to utilize the results of this study as a reference in the application of thematic learning material about the general profession in kindergarten.
