Abstract

SMA Negeri 1 Kawali merupakan salah satu sekolah di Kabupaten Ciamis yang memiliki fasilitas pembelajaran disekolah yang relatif lengkap, termasuk laboratorium geografi. Tetapi hasil belajar siswa cenderung masih rendah. Dapat dilihat dari daftar kumpulan nilai ulangan harian, terlihat bahwa rata – rata nilai yang diperoleh siswa berkisar antara 69 sampai dengan 72 dengan kriteria ketuntasan minimal (KKM) 69. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui (1) ketersediaan alat dan bahan yang tersedia di laboratorium gografi, dan (2) efektivitas pemanfaatan laboratorium dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Peneltian ini merupakan penelitian suvey yang dilakukan pada 278 peserta didik. Sampel diambil secara propotional sampling dan statified sampling pada penelitian ini sebanyak 160 siswa yang terdiri dari 8 kelas. Variabel dari penelitian terdiri dari variabel bebas yaitu pemanfaatan laboratorium geografi dan variabel terikat yaitu hasil belajar siswa kelas X. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu (1) dokumentasi, (2) angket, dan (3) teknik observasi. Analisis data pada variabel pertama dideskripsikan secara mendalam sedangkan variabel kedua menggunakan teknik analisis korelasi Pearson product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) ketersediaan alat dan bahan laboratorium di SMA Negeri 1 Kawali sudah lengkap, (2) terdapat hubungan yang positif antara pemanfaatan laboratorium geografi di SMA Negeri 1 Kawali dengan perolehan koefisien korelasi pada praktikum 1 sebesar 0,517; praktikum 2 sebesar 0,501; praktikum 3 sebesar 0.527 dengan N = 160 dan rtabel sebesar 0,155. Selain itu diperoleh pula harga koefisien determinasi R2 sebesar 32,055% yang mempunyai makna bahwa pemanfaatan laboratorium memiliki sumbangan efektif sebesar 33,472% terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Kawali.---------Senior High School 1 Kawali is one of the schools in Ciamis Regency that has relatively complete learning facilities in schools, including a geography laboratory. But student learning outcomes tend to be still low. The purpose of this study was to determine (1) the availability of tools and materials in the geography laboratory, and (2) the effectiveness of laboratory use in improving student learning outcomes. This research is a survey study conducted on 278 students. Samples in this study as many as 160 students consisting of 8 classes. The variables of the study consisted of independent variables, namely the use of geography laboratories and the dependent variable, namely the learning outcomes of class X students. Data collection techniques used were (1) documentation, (2) questionnaires, and (3) observation techniques. Data analysis techniques on the first variable are described in deatail while the second variable uses Pearson product moment correlation analysis techniques. The results showed that (1) the availability of laboratory equipment and materials in SMA Negeri 1 Kawali was complete, (2) there was a positive relationship between the use of geography laboratories in SMA Negeri 1 Kawali with the acquisition of the correlation coefficient at practicum 1 at 0.517; practicum 2 is 0.501; practicum 3 is 0.527 with N = 160 and rtable is 0.155. In addition, also obtained the coefficient of determination R2 value of 32.055% which means that the use of the laboratory has an effective contribution of 33.472% to increase learning outcomes of X Grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Kawali.
