Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan analisis peserta didik sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) dan tipe Jigsaw. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Eksperimen dengan desain eksperimen Nonequivalen Control Group Design. Subjek penelitian yaitu kelas XI IPS A, XI IPS C dan kelas XI IPS D di MAN 1 Kota Bandung. Alat pengumpulan data untuk kemampuan analisis peserta didik diperoleh dengan memberikan tes tertulis dalam bentuk soal uraian. Soal tes yang akan digunakan sebelumnya dilakukan uji validitas, uji realibilitas, uji tingkat kesukaran dan daya pembeda. Teknik pengolahan data menggunakan uji normalitas, uji homogenitas, menghitung gain dan untuk pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji beda rata-rata (paired samples t-test dan one way anova). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan analisis peserta didik yang menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) dan tipe Jigsaw. Peningkatan kemampuan analisis peserta didik dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw lebih tinggi dibandingkan kemampuan analisis peserta didik yang mengunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) dan metode konvensional. Pembelajaran menggunakan model kooperatif tipe Jigsaw lebih efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan analisis peserta didik daripada dengan pembelajaran menggunakan model kooperatif tipe STAD dan metode konvensional. ..... This study aims to determine and analyze the differences in the improvement of students' analytical skills after using the cooperative learning model type of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) and Jigsaw type. Research method used was Quasi Experiment with the Nonequivalen Control Group experimental design. Research subjects were the students of class XI IPS A, XI IPS C and class XI IPS D in MAN 1 Bandung. Data collection tools for students' analytical skills were obtained by giving written tests in the form of a description question which were tested for validity, reliability test, difficulty level and differentiation test. Data processing techniques used included normality test, homogeneity test, gain calculation and test hypotheses using an average difference test (paired samples t-test and one way anova). Results revealed that there were differences in the improvement of students' analytical abilities using cooperative learning models of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) and Jigsaw type. The improvement of students' analytical skills using the Jigsaw cooperative learning model is higher than the that of students who use the cooperative learning model type of Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) and conventional methods. Consequently, learning using the Jigsaw type cooperative model is more effective to improve students' analytical skills than using the STAD type cooperative model and conventional methods.
