Abstract

Perkembangan sosial dan teknologi yang cepat di abad 21 telah mengubah dinamika lingkungan kerja, struktur lembaga pendidikan dan cara untuk berkolaborasi. Hal ini meminta siswa untuk mengembangkan keterampilan baru (keterampilan abad 21) agar berhasil menghadapi tantangan tersebut. Sebagai pijakan untuk mengembangkan cara-cara melatihkan keterampilan abad 21, penelitian ini diperlukan untuk mendapatkan profil keterampilan abad 21 terlebih dahulu. Keterampilan abad 21 yang diteliti meliputi 4 C yaitu keterampilan berfikir kritis, kreativitas, kolaborasi dan komunikasi. Aspek 4C mengacu kepada Framework Buck Institute For Education (BIE). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi kinerja atau observasi dokumen, menggunakan instrumen lembar observasi yang dilengkapi rubrik hasil adaptasi dari BIE. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain one shot case study. Jumlah sampel adalah 109 orang (3 kelas) dari populasi berjumlah 309 orang (8 kelas) XI IPA di salah satu SMA Negeri di Kota Bandung. Teknik sampling menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif yang menghasilkan presentase siswa per kategori. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan untuk keterampilan berfikir kritis, kolaborasi dan komunikasi, persentase siswa paling banyak berada pada kategori mendekati standar yaitu berfikir kritis (42 % siswa), kolaborasi (48 % siswa), dan komunikasi (36 % siswa). Sedangkan untuk keterampilan kreativitas, persentase siswa paling banyak berada pada kategori dibawah standar dengan persentase 48 % siswa. Keterampilan siswa yang lebih rendah pada keterampilan berfikir kritis adalah menyadari keterbatasan data, pada keterampilan kreativitas adalah menghasilkan ide baru dan mencari sumber informasi yang tidak biasa, pada keterampilan kolaborasi adalah membagi peran untuk presentasi, dan pada keterampilan komunikasi, menggunakan bahasa tubuh dan menjaga kontak mata. ..... As a platform to develop ways to train 21st century skills, this research is needed to obtain 21st century skill profiles first. The 21st century skills studied included 4 C, namely critical thinking skills, creativity, collaboration and communication. The 4C aspect refers to the Buck Institute for Education (BIE) Framework. Data collection is done by performance observation or document observation, using observation sheet instruments that are equipped with the rubric of adaptation results from BIE. This study uses the design of one shot case study. The number of samples was 109 people (3 classes) from a population of 309 people (8 classes) XI IPA in one of the public high schools in the city of Bandung. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling technique. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics that produced a percentage of students per category. The results showed that critical thinking skills, collaboration and communication, the percentage of the most students was in the approaching standard category of critical thinking (42% of students), collaboration (48% of students), and communication (36% of students). As for creativity skills, the highest percentage of students is in the under-standard category with a percentage of 48% of students. Lower student skills in critical thinking skills are realizing data limitations, creativity skills are generating new ideas and looking for unusual sources of information, collaboration skills are dividing roles for presentation, and communication skills, using body language and maintaining eye contact .
